Not sure how you can really enjoy a game where the guns have no recoil ... it's so ridiculous.
The game has a few positives, but it ain't no Battlefield 3. Sorry.
Oh yeah, where the hell is the motion sensor!?!![]()

Motions sensors are dumb. Smart players don't need a motion sensor to know where the opponents are.
Also, I've never played Battlefield 3. I don't really care to. Running for what seems like forever only to get one kill and then die to respawn and run forever again just isn't my cup of tea.

A BF3 player asking where the motion sensor is..
Sounds about right![]()
How do you take that away from BF3 without ever having played it?
And if you heard that from somebody, they most likely had no idea what they were doing. If you know what's going on it can make for a very intense experience.
My brother got BO2 for Christmas, more of the same.
I ****ing hate shotguns. They seem so overpowered. Get killed in one shot from ridiculous distances.
Try it out bigmike. I used to hate them too (like I sated earlier, only like fully auto rifles). But after u start playing with tem, especially on small maps, they're cool. It's gonna sound weird put ghost on, and no one will know where ur at. I have a buddy who loves camping spawns. It drives people nits
Thanks SOUP for the sig!!
I hope you don't mind me critiquing your set up. I suppose it depends on what game mode you're playing but here it goes.
I think FMJ is overrated. I tried it but didn't really notice any difference. Bouncing betters are ok but the more skilled players are learning how to suck on them real quick. Likewise with engineer. I can spot most equipment running around at full speed. Most don't use claymores because they are unlocked so late and bettys are easy to avoid. Shock charges get me ice and a while but the dummy who used it isn't anywhere near by to kill me.
I'd trade the FMJ for a silencer, a grip or a scope real quick.
Nah it's all good. FIrst thing to realize is I am not very good at this game therefore I camp a lot. The FMJ is big for me cause I shoot people through walls a lot as well. I get at least 3 bouncing betty kills per game but i use them more just to tell me when people are coming to my spot. I can hear them go off or even better when it says "Your equipment has been destroyed." I hate the silencer because of the reduction in range (remember Im usually camping shooting long distances but way way to unskilled to use a sniper). I also love the iron sight of the swat so I don't use any scope. That's just the reason I use these things, Im sure its different for everyone. Oh and I can't see **** which is why I use engineer.
To answer your question from that last round:
1. Plug a keyboard into one of the USB ports on the front of the PS3
2. Take the keyboard with you to your couch
3. When you want to type to someone, press the PS3 button, type that **** out real fast, pick up your controller again, start shooting people.
It was nice playing with a group for once. I'm usually with 1 or maybe 2 friends but that's it.
"It's like catching a stack of pancakes."
Sweep the leg.
Were you the German words guy? I remember somebody posting that name in here I just couldn't remember who.
You're not too shabby considering the complaining you did about the barbaric device that we use to play the game.
I'll invite any ESers if I'm on. I like rolling in groups. Makes the game more fun. Now... If some people would just get a mic. (nudge nudge)
Try out the LMGs. They are beasts at range, have huge magazines, and naturally have great wall penetration. The LSAT is the truth. A silenced LMG has roughly the same range as an assault rifle without a silencer. Some dude was putting up 60 kill games with a silenced diamond LMG yesterday. He was just owning the chokepoint he decided to post up at.
Try:
LSAT
Silencer
Stock
Perk 1 greed
Ghost
Flak Jacket
Toughness
Tactical Mask
Bouncing Betty
Shock Charge
The shock charge can be used like you use bouncing betties, as a warning system. Scavenger will replenish bouncing betties, but you'll want to be more mobile in order to pick up scavenger packs.
Remember that even if you don't notice it, muzzle flash can really mess with your vision. Silencers get rid of muzzle flash, and optic sights have a clear view above the flash.
