yeah, most of the maps in Black Ops 2 are built for rushing and "patrolling," not much medium to long range shootouts.

Also, there isn't very much open space to have two guys just going at it. In old maps like Wasteland, Derail, Array, Grid, Radiation...all those maps had flat, open areas to where there was no cover, just two guys shooting at each other. NONE of the Black Ops 2 maps really have that feel, in my opinion. All the Blops 2 maps are basically built for domination, with 3 main areas of the map, two being the spawns A & C objectives, and then B in the middle. All the maps seem to have narrow passageways towards B in the middle, with a lot of cover along the way, and then little hallways and hiding places around the outside of the map. It seems really easy for a well organized team to take control of the game early and lock down major choke points.

Most of the maps in Black Ops 2 seem to play pretty much the same way. Aftermath, Meltdown, and Overflow are basically the exact same layouts.

really ... well, I'm not talking BF3 maps, I'm talking MW2 and Black Ops "large" maps, like Wasteland and Jungle.

Its going in slow motion and you see them start to look down the scope and then fire before the scope even opens up completely.
yeah, has to be the most obnoxious thing in the game. quick scoping is what the children call it.

yep ... and your right, they are more domination type of maps. kind of dissapointing.

Man, I miss these maps. Array was a ton of fun, so was Grid.

I was playing the other day and a guy went 61 and 0 for the first half of domination. The second half he went 1-3. Theater mode only caught the second half of the game.

First impression of the QBB LSW is that it does extremely low damage. It is very frustrating. Shoots fast, but at long range it is hitmarker city with a kill here and there. Right now I've gotta go with target finder, need all the help I can get. Gun is definitely the best hipfiring LMG, have thought about trying laser sight.... An LMG better up close than far away, weird. My ratio is still on the up, but my score per minute is going down with this gun.

Started running with the vsat yesterday, I forgot that you get points for your teammate's kills. Its not much of a stretch to get dogs and swarm from there.

Im gonna play some more with that setup and go for a 100 kill game.

Stoked for the map release on the 29th (xbox). Look to be more camper busting and sniper dodger maps. I'm STOKED. Love ruining the plan of the guys that have tents pitched lol.

Totally agree! Nothing makes me chub more than stopping a camping sniper's killstreak, then hearing him curse in the mic after I own him. I'll usually stand behind them for a second and teabag 'em and stick them with a semtex

Amen bro! I just got this on PS3, so after 3-4 nights of playing, Im at level 35 now. I was at level 21 when I started tonight, so 14 levels aint too shabby lol. I don't think I'll prestige on PS3 like Ive done on PC though.

Headshots are few and far between with the QBB LSW. Definitely the slowest headshot pace I've experienced yet. Can't seem to grasp how to use this thing. Going with lightweight and trying to put myself in medium range firefights, using it like an assault rifle. The range is pathetic on this thing. Sheesh. Makes the game a bore to play, frankly.

Picked up the new SMG, and meh. Long range gun, cool. Would like to see a flood of guns with weird quirks like the Chicom and HAMR.
