I might try lightning/AGR/stealth chop this weekend to see if I can manage to hit 'em

The AGR/stealth chopper combo is a nice 1-2 punch, but stacking killstreaks is what will help you get something high. Try hitting the orbital VSAT, that is your goal. Once you do that, chill back and pick off flankers while your team racks up kills. Only takes 10 kills by your entire team while the VSAT is up to single-handedly get you a Warthog. Personally, when the VSAT is up, I'm liable to get 10 god damn kills by myself. Probably the nicest, most buddy-ole-pal killstreak a person can use. You'll redeem yourself for killing the PS crew in hardcore.

The VSAT is awfully tempting...hmmm. but how do you play to reach those high streaks? Are you a rusher? a cautious support type guy? do you patrol a certain area? lock down choke points near the outsides of a map? Don't get me wrong, i'd love to be able to hit that big stuff every game, but being an objective nut, I tend to die a lot LOL. maybe I need to change my playstyle

Once you have B and a secondary dom point locked down, feel out the front lines and shift your position laterally. Draw people in, let them run in to you, surprise them. You earned both flags, make them take it away from you. Sutble adjustments are the key. You don't always have to be a hero. Take your time once you're feeling somewhat close to the VSAT. Take it one kill at a time.

I'm typically a rusher on Dom. Once I get B I'm happy to hold two spots and will defend the hell out of B until I die. One thing that actually helps is if you sit on B (this is where the trophy system comes in handy), you get 150 per kill instead of 100. If you kill somebody who's on your flag you get more and if you kill somebody while you are on their flag you get 200. Two for the price of one. Kill three guys real quick when you are taking their objective and you're well on your way.

I'm happy just to stick to B and prevent them from taking it though. Unless it looks like they'll take one of our secondary objectives then I'll push forward and take theirs on the other side.

On to the MK48, and holy freakin' cow, I am going Jordan with it in TDM. One session of about 4 hours and I already have over 50 headshots with it. My K/D with it is through the roof, above the trees, and in the clouds. Wha...I...don't........wtf!?

Love it with the ACOG. Suppressor is always nice, but the gun is extremely bulky and the iron sights sit very low. Optics are a must here. Quickdraw is an absolute-must as well. To use suppressor I need primary gunfighter. Time to kill feels slow up close so I made room for extended mags on my B23R. I could probably run around with that as my only weapon and do well.

Are you guys able to get on PS3 right now? I read the PSN is down till 5am EST tomorrow. I still cant get online and if you logged in anytime before maintanence you were supposed to be able to sign in and access games online, which I played Madden until 2am the night before (well morning before) and I can't sign in at all.

I finally got on PSN tonight. I hooked up my PS3 to my PC monitor and I honestly love it. Cant wait to gun fools down in BO2 now

Welp...Black Ops 2 is unplayable with my east coast friends, the lag is just too much to deal with.

Tried running with the PS3 crew last night, most of them in DC/MD/VA, and me 2,000 miles away in Colorado, and here's what the connection looked like. Color in the picture doesn't show up very well, but that's me with the lone 3-bar YELLOW connection...everybody else in the game with 4 full GREEN bars.

Half the game i kept getting "connection interrupted" warnings and my screen would freeze for 2-3 seconds at a time. Eventually I lagged so hard, it booted me right out of the game.

Yeah, I'd assume that it's because you are out west. Now that I think about it, it might also be my fault. I have my connection set to pick local games. With everyone local and you out west, it might have screwed you. We'll pick you up sometime in the future and I'll make sure that it's a regular search for games, not a local one.

PS: couldn't you have take a screenshot that showed me at like 53-12 or something sick like that?

There's some things you can do to help your connection, ya know. Shoot, a friend of mine played for YEARS before he mentioned he was playing wirelessly... Now he's pretty awesome

After this game the people on the other team were yelling at each other about me ravaging them with a handgun. B23R w/extended mag in TDM:



I was getting put on some horrible teams last night. One game I went 35-5 and the rest of my team had K/D ratios under .70. Lost by 11 kills.

That's happened to me also. I was complaining about it on the last page or so.

I'd assume that you are normally at the top of the lobby leader board. I think, if you aren't with a group, it places you with the players with the weakest SPM to "keep it fair". It sucks because you normally end up with a really crappy team if you are a good player.

Speaking of the lobby leader board, I check that thing religiously. I can tell with fair certainty how my team will do based on my score compared to the rest of the guys in the lobby. I think there have been a few times with the PS3 crew that I outright said,"we're going to get wrecked" or, "we're going to stomp these guys" and been 100% accurate.
