Jordan Black, Tyler Polumbus, and Jammal Brown can't pass protect but that hasn't DQed them as a fit for our zone blocking running game.

Fluker has struggled against speed in the past. But he also dominated LSU's ends and they're as fast as it gets. He's got the ability to pass protect against speed. If Cordy Glenn can be such a good LT in the NFL, I think Fluker can hack it at RT.

The ZBS let's you get away with not having big guys, it doesn't preclude them.

Fluker can run pretty well. Consistency is more his issue than lack of natural ability.

I also don't know about him dropping a ton of weight. He's probably in shape at 340. He's not sloppy at his current size. He's just a naturally enormous person that carries weight well.

Ray Ray Armstrong isn't worth a draft pick IMO. Tyraan Matthieu is a much better player and prospect than Ray Ray ever was.

Agree. I liked Fluker last year and I still like him this year.

Also I would nice to get some front seven depth on defense. Our D gives QBs too much time up front. Even though there are injuries to Kerrigan and Orakpo, I still think a team is heavily lacking quality depth in those positions.

    Round 2-Justin Hunter WR
    Round 3-DJ Swearinger S
    Round 4-Blidi Wreh-Wilson CB
    Round 5-Kerwynn Williams RB
    Round 5-Ace Sanders WR
    Round 6-Damion Stafford S
    Round 7-Chris Thompson RB

The fact of the matter is, we need help rushing the passer, why not try Maybin? All the physical traits are there. Not to mention it's a low risk high reward move.
    He is not any good.

    A few things...

Some team is going to find their new blue chip LT in Luke Joeckel.... He reminds me of Joe Thomas coming out of Wisconsin in terms of skillset. I just hope he does not end up in the NFC East. He's a top 5 talent and with the Eagles blowing, they may have a chance at him.

To stevemc... Robert Lester needs to pick it up a big time. I remember you taking a liking to him. He seems to be struggling quite a bit and digressing in my mind. With the safety crop, he may even fall out of the 3rd round...

I believe you mean LB's since he plays S, but yes he's a product of that system. Not saying he'd be a decent starter, but he's not as good as everyone has made him out to be

I think Lester is competent. He's not that fast and he's not a playmaker, but he's not going to hurt you if he's your starting FS. He can cover in deep zones, walk over and play a little man on the slot receiver, and he can tackle.

He's a typical Alabama overachiever. His best attributes are his pretty good size, instincts, and tackling and I do think he's got some versatility to play either safety spot. I think he is fair value in the 4th-6th rounds.

    ---------- Post added November-19th-2012 at 02:01 PM ----------

Five of the six or seven most talented teams in the country are in the SEC. Texas A&M and Alabama are the most talented teams in CFB IMO. UGA, South Carolina, and LSU are just behind them. Ohio State and USC are the only non SEC schools that approach that level. If there was a legit playoff CFB, I think it would be a virtual certainty either A&M, Alabama, or UGA won it all.

    Here is my top five:

    1.) Jarvis Jones
    2.) Johnathan Hankins
    3.) Star Lotuleilei
    4.) Luke Joeckel
    5.) Dee Milliner

You could probably flip Joeckel and Lotuleilei, I'd give them about an equal grade. The top four are the cream of this class and each could deserve to go #1.

I think Milliner has become a better prospect than Dre Kirkpatrick was. I like him more than I liked Joe Haden, and I loved Haden. Better size than Haden.

    ---------- Post added November-19th-2012 at 02:09 PM ----------

If Jadeveon Clowney were eligible this year, he would be in the top five. Possibly a #1 overall candidate this year. I think he's on par with Hankins and Jarvis Jones.

Considering what PFF continually puts out about Orakpo's absence affecting Kerrigan I'd hope its a joke
