Robey isn't just short, he's tiny. 165 pounds is simply too small to play a regular role in the NFL. He's even smaller than Tavon Austin.

    Absolutely not.
If he can get up to 175-180 he'll play CB just like Antoine Winfield, Tim Jennings and Brandon Flowers. As it is he doesn't hit or tackle like he's 168 lbs.

It'll be hard for him to get to the kind of weight Jennings and Flowers play at. Those guys are pretty thick for being short. You're talking about probably a 20 pound difference.

Robey can play physical but his bulk issue is about him wearing down in a regular role.

His upper body needs some bulk but as a long jumper it's hard to imagine he has an underdeveloped lower body. It will all come down to if he can still show he's the same athlete after packing on about 10 lbs.

Been watching a good amount of Brian Winters lately and I must say I really like his potential in the ZBS scheme at RT. Currently 294 pounds only 10 pounds less than Eric Winston who plays RT

Kerrakpo, there isn't an ILB in the league worth that price in draft picks. I wouldn't make that trade for Ray Lewis or Pat Willis in their primes.
Ray Lewis in his prime means you have a top 10 defense for as long as he's on the team. A HOF level ILB is that impactful, and Ray is the best there ever was.

Sure I'd be leery of paying it for our team after paying so much for RGIII for our team, but in a vacuum, I pay the picks and laugh all the way to the bank if I was guaranteed to have Ray Lewis level impact from that pick.

Winters was awarded with 1st team All Mac just recently (I believe) ... Archer awarded and the HC too.

I'll be watching Winters that night but also get a chance to watch Rashaan Melvin in game context (yet to really watch him). Also want to see the NIU QB Lynch.

    ...

I do believe the winner of the Mac Championship gets a birth in the BCS, right?

Yep, Winters 1st Team. Eric Fisher awarded too (no surprise)

    This is BIG:

    La Tech vs Utah State

You get to see Patton (4) vs Will Davis (CB #17). Plus in general you get to see the La Tech offense - a handful of good players in Holley and Lee and Cameron.

No ILB would be worth that to me. It's one of the most replaceable positions in the game. That's three starters, one of which you're hoping to be Probowl caliber.

Not to mention I don't think Te'o is Ray Lewis good. I think the talk of him winning the Heisman damns this Heisman class. Probably the worst one I can ever remember.

Wasn't saying for T'eo in particular, I don't think he's that good. He's probably a 2nd rounder in last year's draft. But while it's fairly easy to get a good, solid ILB because it doesn't put quite as much a premium as other positions on pure athleticism, the impact of a great one is nearly as large as the impact of a great CB or pass rusher, if not greater.

Consider this as a thought experiment:

Would you trade 3 starters, including a potential Pro Bowler, for a Hall of Famer at any position group save for special teams?

no offense, but that almost looked like a blooper video. I watched 4 minutes of it and saw nothing but dropped passes, terrible/questionable throws, and offensive pass interference which would definitely be called in the pros.

I think my biggest concern would be exposing Orakpo or Kerrigan to that type of pass coverage. They'd get torched downfield by the Jimmy Graham's of the world.
I still think this is a 4-3 defense playing the 3-4. Orakpo and Kerrigan would be better as DEs in a 4-3. This is why I think until the skins get a true NT, the defense won't ever be right. Every successful 3-4 defense has a stand-out at NT. It's why I'd like the team to get Jarvis Jenkins from Georgia, but he is likely a high first rounder.

    Round 2-Justin Hunter WR
    Round 3-DJ Swearinger S
    Round 4-Blidi Wreh-Wilson CB
    Round 5-Kerwynn Williams RB
    Round 5-Ace Sanders WR
    Round 6-Damion Stafford S
    Round 7-Chris Thompson RB

This phrase is bandied about far too often with too little actual explanation.

I think you mean John Jenkins.... since you're talking about NT's

Do you think he's a high first rounder as well?

I can't recall a NT that has gone early in the first.

If any NT goes early in the first it would be Star Lotulelei but I think John Jenkins gets snagged up in the early 2nd
