A few weeks ago I questioned Fluker and his fit in our scheme, but damn, he is a man out there today. They're running his side all the time and just gashing UGA

Russell wasn't a game manager. If you got a big time talent, you would have to be stupid not to use him. I believe they'd open up their offenses.

They just don't make it a priority. But the thing is, if one of these comparably talented teams like A&M comes in and has a big time JR or SR playmaker at QB, he's going to beat them just like Chizik did with Cam Newton.

This really feels like a National Championship game.

You have one example vs a handful of qbs for either coach who were game managers. Not enough to invalidate my point

Definitely shoulda spiked it. Coulda huddled up and got a good play in.

Hard to fault that WR for catching the ball. Instinct took over.

That's because Russell was the only big time QB either of those coaches ever had. They're going to run an offense where the QB is just a game manager when they don't have QBs who can do anything else. Give Alabama or LSU a Ryan Mallett and they would start throwing. Why wouldn't they? They'd be unstoppable.

They were going for the end zone but Mosley hit it and the underneath receiver just had a brain fart and caught it. Turrible.

Great game though. A thriller, and if we're being honest, both of those teams are better than ND. So is Texas A&M and LSU and Florida probably are too. Those five SEC teams could deservedly be the top five this year.

I don't think the Refs called a fair game though. That Milliner INT (which I'm surprised they overturned) could probably have been got PI seeing as how the defender looked like he got there a bit earlier. There was another catch earlier in the game that the UGA guy actually held on to despite the fact he got hit way before the ball arrived. No call.

The dirty hit on Murray near the end of the first half was also pretty egregious.

And DJ Fluker's technique for containing Jarvis Jones on passing plays was notably, "hold the crap out of him." I don't think holding was called a single time on Bama.

I don't like UGA, I'm glad they lost, but I would have rather seen the game called evenly than Bama get a bunch of crap calls and win a squeaker.

Attaochu should probably go back for his Senior year. If he does, and plays as well next season as he did this one, I can see him going second round, maybe earlier.

Ryan Mallett went to play where he knew he'd be featured. Do you really think Arkansas can compete with the big SEC schools for a top QB recruit if the QB wanted to go to LSU or Alabama? Do you really think that Nick Saban, perhaps the best recruiter of all time would have trouble finding a QB? I work on a much smaller level of college football but I can promise you top QB recruits are turned off by the prospect of having to hand the ball off constantly, and I don't see Saban or Miles altering their philosophy anytime soon.

    CBS calls him 7th.

Call him 4th round. Somewhere in the top 15 to 20 of the CBs.

Please draft DJ Fluker...and Amari Cooper when he comes out....made Rambo look like a joke.

And I still like John Jenkins, but I don't think he's worth a second anymore, maybe a 3rd or 4th.

Georgia got away with pass interference on a ball that wast NOT deflected like they claimed and it led to a blocked FG for a touchdown....just sayin
