Bray can sling it. With better caution he will be really good....not just saying that as a vol state resident. Besides Hunter and Cord., former vol Rodgers is a playmaker.
Freak of an athlete. Hope we can get him.
What do yall think of Serge Kona from Duquesne, Keyjuan Riley from Bama St., Jamaal White from N.Western st.,and Ryan McMahon of Sacremento St.??
Can't find any way around it, in the modern NFL Joseph Randle is my #1 RB. Very bullish on him, although his build isn't ideal for me.

Starting to think with all the guys that went back to school he could sneak into round 1 if a team falls in love, but Menelik Watson would be a nasty RT for us in the second. We'd have perhaps the nastiest, most athletic OT combo in the entire league after we coached him up. Doesn't really fit the profile of the type of polished, 4-year, decorated player we prefer to draft though, unfortunately.
Though maybe with a new team culture firmly taking root, we back off that and start taking "risks" on more talented underclassmen. I mean, why build a foundation of solid, blue-collar, hard-working players if not to later let them rub off on some truly special athletic talents? Seems like the perfect setup.
Randle is really talented. Cat quick and good long speed too. He's going to get picked higher than I want us to take a RB though. I see 2nd round value, maybe early 3rd.
Montee Ball is my top RB this year though. Probably Eddie Lacey second. Giovanni Bernard is up there. Randle is up there. Still like LeVeon Bell too.
"John Wall will never be as good as Kyrie Irving was in his first week in the NBA" - David Falk, published February 14, 2013.
Part of the reason I like Randle so much is that I think he's one of those players whose skill-sets actually fit the NFL better than college ball. He is a great pass protector already, and a great receiver. That will get him on the field early and earn any team's trust. An underrated runner with surprising power and obvious fluidity. Quick, and a very smart kid. Like, he was an engineering major before it became obvious he'd have to pick something less time consuming to focus on his game for the NFL. I expect him to have a very bright future in the NFL if he can stay healthy. I'd jump on him in the 3rd based upon value alone, but he'll be an early-mid 2nd rounder.
Reminds me of a mix of Demarco Murray, who I loved coming out, but with the shiftiness of McCoy (in the NFL--I totally whiffed on him as a prospect. His game was too subtle for me to project I imagine).
Vaccaro has good size and movement could be an instant impact player at SS, but for me I don't feel comfortable projecting him as the top S because I value FS skills more then SS and Kenny simply didn't play enough FS to rate higher then some of the other S. But, he'll probably be the one of the top 2 S off the board. I think the top 2-3 S are gonna be drafted as SS. (vaccaro, elam and hopefully phillip thomas)
Sempre fi for McDonald?
Skins for Rambo
Dukes for Swearinger
Dog for Vaccaro

Looks like we interviewed VT Wr Marcus Davis at the East practice.
2nd: Amerson CB
3rd: McDonald FS
4th: Theo Riddick RB
5th: Malliciah Goodman DE
5th: BPA OT
6th: Nick Florence QB
7th: Trevardo Williams LB (DE conversion)
Davis is a big WR at 6'4" and weighs 230lbs with a 40 speed projected at 4.45. Decent.![]()
Not interested in Davis at all in this wicked deep WR class. Wildly diverging reports on him coming from practices, but he's just not a natural receiver it seems like. Had him as a riser but I'm seriously second-and-triple guessing that with some of the stuff coming out about him this week.
There are too many good WR's in this class to take a guy like Davis IMO.
I would take Baccarri Rambo as THE guy for safety. He just seems to grab interceptions, stop the run, hit nicely, force fumbles, and cover all in one. One of the most important things about a player is if they just explode off the tape and just stand out heads and shoulders over everyone, Rambo does this because in nearly every play he is a factor in it some way or another. It is something vague like the "It" factor but the important thing to take away from this is that Rambo is a playmaker.
TJ McDonald is pretty nice, he is a great run stopper and blitzer and is a pretty safe choice in my opinion, he might be my 2nd choice for safety. I don't really know about Vaccaro and Reid.
Edit:
Scratch that, I would take Matt Elam as the 2nd choice, with McDonald being 3rd. Elam is a monster.
