"Kind of" because he actually saw the field vs Cassel who just sat behind (Palmer/Leinart)

I guess Abouishi was a perfect fit playing for the soft, weak Virginia Cavaliers

Sorry, the VT fan in me couldn't resist especially during a bitter basketball season.

The issue with Armstead wasn't his upper body strength, it's his lower body. Bench is just one strength measurement.

Can someone explain to me how Brian Winters only had 9 reps on the bench? And his arm length is below average so that's not an excuse either.

I wonder if any of the OL or DL have private trainers they work with before the combine like the other positions do.

Wouldn't WR-TE-WR be an example of Vinny attempting BPA? A lot of people had Thomas with a first round grade which also happened to be a need. We didn't need a TE but Davis was graded out highly, and if Thomas was the prospect we thought he was, we didn't need another WR but Kelly was allegedly graded out high as well.

You can find excuses for why they COULD have been the BPA, but the reality was Vinny was out for weapons for our shiny new WCO, no matter what. Kelly was off our board based on our medical Starr's evaluation but Vinny and Danny loved him at his pro day and they took him anyways.

They said DC Jefferson TE from Rutgers only benched 3. I wonder what happened? Maybe he injured himself ?

    2) Terron Armstead RT
    3) Cobi Hamilton WR
    4) Brandon Jenkins OLB
    5) Marcus Lattimore RB
    5) Terry Hawthrone CB
    6) Bradley McDougald FS
    7) Cooper Taylor SS
    7) Joe Vellano DE

Perfect draft!! In free agency, we can go after Corey lynch and Sam Shields.

Separate we are strong, but together we are invincible.

Mayock on path to the draft pumped up the TE class, said Escobar could be Tony Gonzalez like in terms of talent skill. He suggested there are a bunch of TEs with similar talent/skill set.

And I hope that would be more like when Blaine 'fell' to us.

    7) Cooper Taylor SS switch him and whathisname^^^
    7) Joe Vellano DE ???what about Kruger or Stansly Maponga??

Well it used to be that there were some Virginians who were kinda soft and sickly, but we got rid of that part back in the 1860s.

Nobody called them reaches at the time, in fact most people thought we got great value. If we had traded up for them, sure, but we traded down and got 3 guys who were borderline 1st rounders to many. Only one debatable was Kelly, but he was a guy who was high upside had he been healthy.
