Some charts and analysis of 4 Wide Receivers in this years class. Cordarrelle Patterson, Deandre Hopkins, Keenan Allen, and Stedman Bailey. The guy who did this is apparently working on another batch of receivers.

What interests me is that Keenan Allen gets just about ALL of his yards right near the Line Of Scrimmage. Only about 10-15% of his yards come on 3rd down, and when the field gets shorter (inside the red zone) he only had 27 total yards last season.
DeAndre Hopkins had the most interesting charts.

A guy like DeAndre Hopkins would do wonders for this team. Unfortunately I think he's a solid 1st round pick

I actaully really really like this draft, and not only for the Redskins but I think the picks are very believable and make a lot of sense, a lot of these players I can actually see going to the team you slotted them at, which is rare. I really really like Cyprien but I think if Rambo is there you go with the proven commodity. I am a known fan of Poyer so I think that getting him in the 2nd would work wonders for this defense. For the 4th and 5th rounders I don't think we double dip into grabbing more linemen, I know a lot of people think you can never draft enough but I mean I find it hard to believe we would draft so heavy in the later rounds at a position 2 years in a row. I'd rather have Connor Vernon in the 5th since you have him available a few picks after us. I like Duke Williams in the 6th pick, I really do because we lack safety depth and I think he could become a solid player. I'd rather grab Quanterres Smith in the 7th than a punter that will most likely be there in UDFA, I mean Smith did lead the nations in sacks I think, I'd rather try to catch lightning in a bottle and take a chance in the 7th. Despite a few gripes and dissenting selections, I really like it.
I would be pretty happy with this draft.
It's more of a long term need than a short term one. Santana and Morgan are in the last year of their deals, and Santana might be too old to continue by then. So it's building for the future instead of the now. If you draft a WR, it takes a bit for them to develop enough to contribute. By the time they develop enough, Morgan and Santana might be off the team.

Also it follows the trend of the NFL. If you can have a Decent top 20 D and a top 5 O you can win it all

A lot of that with Allen has to do with play design. Cal ran a lot of bubble screens and quick read plays to get him the ball

I like Allen as the best receiver in the class and I think he's the second best offensive player in the class behind Joeckel. I think he's a top ten talent.

Cordarelle and Hopkins = Julio and Green with a floor of Cribbs and S.Rice.

This team needs upgrades over Morgan and Hankerson imo, even Moss too bc he is getting "football old."
These picks would obviously be for long term. You hope every drafted player makes a long term impact. I believe immediate impact is also desired because I don't see this offense being as successful without added weapons.
