Thread: Name This QB (don't look it up)

  1. #1

Default Name This QB (don't look it up)

He's a veteran QB with more than 10 years in the league. He is considered by many to be "great." He has...

    1. Never thrown for more than 21 TDs in a season.

    2. Only threw for 20 TDs twice.

    3. Only has two 3000 yard passing seasons.

    4. His career QB rating is 80.9.

    Who is this?

I looked it up to check my guess, and I was right.

    But I won't spoil it.

Wow that is ridiculously average. Maybe even below average.

I was also guilty of looking it up. I've never really considered him great, but I know people put him in that category.

If he had a different name he wouldn't be considered a better QB than Sanchez or Fitzpatrick....

What do you mean? PM if you think your answer will ruin it. I chalk it up to other reasons.

    Current?

Vick? Although I feel he broke 21 TDs....

If it was past I'd say Bradshaw, but I think he threw for 26 td's and 24 td's in a couple seasons...

But current...Hasselbeck? Eli..nah, he broke 21 last year, and not 10 years yet...hmm...

I don't really consider him great. Good, not great.

10 years in league. Considered to be 'great' Mediocre numbers.

Patrick Ramsey. Are you working on behalf of Oldfan?

    Hail.

I'm going with Mike Vick, he's never had great passing numbers, has always been a mediocre passer (save for 1.5 seasons in Philly) and relied purely off of athleticism on the field more often than not.

    P.S. I didn't look up my answer.

Michael Vick. What do I win?
I take back all the bad things I said about Kirk Cousins

Sounds like similar numbers to Aikman lol.

Except Aikman only threw 20 td's once.

Yes Michael Vick. Why is he made out to be a great QB? His numbers suck over 11 years... Not one single "great" season.

As for the guys guessing Eli? Nope, no two 20 TD seasons for Eli, it's EIGHT straight. Not two 3000 yard seasons for Eli, it's actually FIVE straight with two straight 4000 yard seasons.
