I've never dated someone of my own race. I've never significantly felt or experienced negative behavior from strangers in public.

Oddly enough, the negative remarks came mostly from people I knew and a few of them weren't shy about letting me know how they felt.

This definitely sounds like a hate crime though. For shame.

It's no different than terrorism. I assume you understand why a mass murderer and a terrorist attack, while potentially identical acts, differ greatly in how we respond to them.

These animals probably would have attacked anyone that was walking by at the time but it just happened to be an interracial couple. It's a shame that we can't walk in areas like Ellis Square without worrying if these thugs are goings to attack. Thank god for my concealed carry permit......it probably would have ended a little differently that night if they had approached my wife and I.
