I think Garcon isnt in football shape yet after sitting out those 2 3/4 football games. In the second half Pierre was really breathing heavy and you could tell he was gassed.

Shanny also said that Pierres late hit foul was not after the whistle. Was a bad call.
They still call those when it's pointless and away from the play and the player doesn't see it coming... if the ball was bounced back and run to that side it would have been a great block... NFL has gotten too patty-cake...

Vinny Cerrato believes he gave Jim Zorn a roster that can make the playoffs. A playoff kicker doesn't miss that kick. A playoff safety doesn't bite multiple times by a double move in the same game.

They whiffed on Prince Amakamura and their D is still nasty.

We need to draft DL every year with a pick in the top 3 rounds (except this year for obvious reasons).

Is anyone else really getting tired of Garcons foot? 1 good quarter of football and that's it for the season? What is up with this guy? Any news on what is actually WRONG with his foot?

    It's basically turf toe

I bet Garcon's getting tired of his foot more than any of us are. You can't play with a bum foot. We probably should've let him rest a little longer before bringing him back to begin with.

Im sure he is frustrated. Also a little frustrating is that Hankerson hasn't really emerged. I was hoping he would but for whatever reason, he hasn't.

Reading Shanny's comments today about how hard a worker and how tough a guy garcon is, I was reminded of when Morgan was being cast as a "useless thug" by some posters who started inventing some farcical history of him out of whole cloth, and how a somewhat similar thing was/is emerging of garcon maybe "babying" himself or not willing to "put it on the line." No matter how much you think you'd get used to it, or know it, or have accepted it again and again, the dumbness that is such a regular part of a message board can still be disconcerting.
"Captain, it's a viewpoint--not one of ours! We're under attack!"

"I see it, ensign! Engage amygdala! Transfer all power from frontal lobes!

Suspend critical thinking field! Go to course heading of reflexive response 101 at full bias!
    Now!'Enter' at will!"

"It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so."

Yeah, I agree. I'm hot sure how long it takes to recover completely from a torn labrum, but he definitely hasn't performed the way I thought he would. I'm sure that play selection, Griffin's willingness to spread the ball around, and us featuring the run game more, has a little to do with it as well, but I still think he could be playing a little better than he has been.

Can someone explain "turf toe"?? Im sure it's painful, but dont they regularly use anesthetic to numb player "hurts"?? Seems like you could numb the toe and be on your way? (Im sure it's not that simple, just wondering if anyone knows why?) Seems to keep guys out a long time and I've never really understood the injury.. Thanks for any info!!

    Did we lose our Punter?

#Redskins must be preparing not to have Sav Rocca Sunday. Source says former PHI punter Chas Henry is en route to VA now. No deal done, yet.

Hopefully. Rocca hasn't performed well this year. It's a relief when he manages not to shank it.
