His foot can't get any worse.

What if it explodes? That would be infinitely worse.

Garcon's foot isn't going to get worse. It's already been said many times that the nature of the injury is that it is just a pain management issue. His foot probably isn't going to get better if he is playing, but playing won't make the injury itself any worse, which means Garcon should try and play and put an end to the questions. If he can go, and manage the pain, good.....if not then end the speculation, shut it down now, get the surgery and plan on having a HUGE 2013 season.

Pfft. He should just chop it off and get his ass out there and play, like those ceegar smokin' tough guys that played back in my grandpappy's day.

Honestly, if we lose this week, I say we force him into the surgery so hopefully it clears up the injury by OTA's. If we win, then yeah keep throwing him out there

This is where I'm at with it too. Get him out there, see if his foot can hold up, if not let's go ahead and shut him down, let him get the necessary surgery and come back next year to make plays after RGIII has had a good solid year playing in this offense.

I don't think surgery is going to do anything for that foot to be honest. We better just hope he can play through it and hes effective. If he doesnt bring anything special put him on IR.

I saw on Redskins Nation some film of Garçon practicing this week, It wasn't much but what I saw he looked pretty solid overall he looked pretty up to speed. I really hope we get to see 88 out this Sunday.

I hope it improves but there's a chance the injury may never go away (which is bad for us but terrible for him)

“I might have to deal with it the rest of my life. It’s a pain every time walking, running, cutting. It’s a pain all the time,” Garcon said. It’s also possibly that Garcon could be shut down for the season and undergo surgery if he does not improve. He said he hopes that isn’t the case. “I never really want to get surgery unless it’s a must, but if I have a chance to play without surgery, I’ll definitely do that,” Garcon said. “The surgery’s not guaranteed to fix it, so that’s weighing my options. I’ve never had surgery.”
