While that was a good one, I think Dr. James Andrews is our doctor, so he'd be in good hands, unless Andrews doesn't operate on feet. I wonder who Orakpo's surgeon is.

Brandon Meriweather downplays latest knee injury

Redskins strong safety Brandon Meriweather said that he felt “fine” despite spraining his right knee and missing the majority of the second half of his team’s 31-6 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

Meriweather said that he believes that he could have returned to action, but that he and the team took a more cautious approach because Washington has a short turnaround this week and will play at Dallas on Thursday.

“It was more thinking about the future than me going back in there when we were already up by so much, and the defense was actually playing great,” Meriweather said.

Glad to hear. Postgame Meriweather said if it's up to him, he plays in Dallas. Hope he's right.

Yeah, he made a difference today. Everyone else seemed to pick up on his energy and make plays

I said a little prayer for Brandon after I saw him being worked on by the training staff. At first, I thought his season was over, cause he grabbed his knee. Then, I thought his season was over cause our training staff was working on him. Glad to see he may have pulled through both episodes. LOL.

BMW definitely made his presence felt on the field today with a solid performance. Hope he can replicate that this Thursday.

Whenever I see BMW, I always think back to Big Mike Williams

I hope that guy is doing okay. Anyone have an update? (sorry for the highjacking of said thread)

Wow. Seriously? Got my hopes up reaaaal high when Meriweather himself said he didnt go back in due to the lopsided score.

Such a freaking bummer. McGoo and Doughty it is.

well just think how good we will be next year when we get all these players back, i think we have lost ten starters and several back ups to injury

That's disappointing. I know he is nothing special, but he definitely changed the tone of our D back there.

I hope we have some health next year. If we do, I could see 10 wins.
"Washington strolled to the NFC championship, outscoring their two playoff opponents by a combined total of 48 points. Their domination was more than impressive, it was historic. The 1991 Redskins boasted the largest average margin of victory among all Super Bowl champions."

We'll get them back and Fromo (or worse) will be out for the year in week 1. How it goes for this team.
