Our offense will not change if Garcon is out and the Bengals will still prepare for Garcon as if he will play, coaches are not stupid.

I haven't seen this posted yet, but my major concern is that he has a similar injury to what Darren McFadden...with all this hush hush talk about his injury...I am just hoping it isn't that serious and it is a promising sign he isn't in a walking boot though.

The game plan absolutely will change and thus the kinds of plays and play calling. Do you think we will feature Robinson as much as we would a healthy Garcon?

I could see this making sense if Garcon actually played last week or plays this weekend even though Cincininatti will prepare for him no matter what Shanny says. The whole thing sounds fishey to me and I just dont believe is a strategic move by Shanny based on the fact he didnt play last week.
Why would he say that the injury couldn't be made worse then say he is holding him out so he doesn't suffer a setback? These coaches think that every little thing they can do can be strategic. Belichick lists half his roster as questionable every week. Literally as I am typing this Rich Eisen says on the DP Show "Normally the Patriots lead the league in questionables and doubtfuls on their injury report followed directly by Shanahan and the Redskins". Shanahan never has been open with injuries and he never will. If it was something that might keep him out 3-4 weeks and he announced it right away the teams we play during weeks 2-4 would already know he isn't playing. We will gameplan differently without Garcon no matter what you think. He is the only legit #1 type WR we have.

The Offense absolutely will change. And if the Bengals are spending time gameplanning for Garcon then that is time they dont have to gameplan for other things. You are right on one thing, and that is these coaches aren't stupid. That is why they are so secretive about injuries...

I think the injury came from getting his foot stepped on as he was running to the end zone toward the end of the play. Someone has a .gif of the play as their sig...

UPDATE: Just saw the play...he didn't get stepped on, but the Saints pursuer did make some kind of contact with PG's foot as he was stretching to tackle him.

The offense is the offense and gameplans always change every week no matter what. We still went deep to Robinson last week even though Garcon was out and I disagree the game plan changes so much due to a player being out rather than the defence we are playing.

I can't imagine why Garcon would sit out. I mean it's only a foot injury. Perhaps he should use roller blades instead of cleats. That will take away the high impact of running, cutting, stopping, blocking etc.

This site gets littered with more and more dumbasses by the day. Do you really think Garcon sits out just for the sake of sitting out? He's got a foot injury idiots. A WR with a bad wheel means he ain't worth a ****. Sheesh. Morons.

If you watch a couple of plays before that, PG is blocking on the left end of the line. Ball goes to the right and PG goes to one knee, obviously in pain and seemingly holding his hip. Anyone else notice this?

When do we find out if Garcon is going to play? We need him back. I feel that if he isn't on the field, the Bengals game will be close like the Rams game =/.

Then I really don't know what to say to you - agree to disagree I guess.

When asked about an injury any NFL player with an IQ above room temperature will either decline to comment, say something totally meaningless or say 'ask coach'.

FFToolbox has Morgan newly listed as Questionable with an undisclosded injury/issue..

can anyone confirm this? or have any info?

The only really useful thing we can learn about Garcon's foot, is how much he practice each day. He was limited in practice on Wednesday. If he practices more today and tomorrow, then I've got a bit more faith about him on Sunday.
