Cannot wait to get Garcon back, I think he will make a difference for us.

Until then, I hope we see more of Moss out there. He still seems like the most reliable guy we have.
The press asked a Redskins executive about the salary cap penalty and the executive responded, "Ask John Mara." So the press asked Mara and he said, “What they did was in violation of the spirit of the salary cap. "

Oh I see now, even though there was no actual salary cap in 2010 according to the CBA, the "spirit" of the salary cap still existed. Thanks for clearing that up Mara.

Is it just me or does it seems like when our guys suffer a "minor" injury, it seems to always turn into a 4-6 week injury?

Moss has been that man since he got here. We're gonna miss him when he's gone, one of the best we've ever had.

been that way for a long time. Hammys used to plague us.

Landry annoys the crap out of me but I think his complaints about our training staff.. and Jamal too, might have validity.

We have the best doctors, but our injury prevention seems to be lacking.

Teams like the Eagles always practice full pads full tackle, yet they still consistently have less injuries than we do over the course of a season. There's only a couple ways to explain that... luck... or they have a much better training staff

I have been feeling pretty good about things lately, but this is one area where it seems like we do have some problems. Like you said, it's either bad luck, or the off-season preparation and training camp is not properly preparing these men for the rigors of an NFL season. Last year the entire o-line went down it seems. Lost Jenkins in pre-season. This year we have already lost Orakpo and Carriker for the year, and our #1 wide out can't make it on the field among others. Meriweather can't get out there either. It's very frustrating.

Jamal brown, chase minn, garçon, Brandon m, and I hope t Jackson comes back next year for dirt cheap! We need to get healthy and look at the long term situations. And of course rack n Adam c! Huge issues and missing personnel on defense!!!!

Yes, we should focus on building through the draft. However, we shouldn't dismiss free agency because of our past. We need to do a better job in free agency to help this team. You can't fill in every hole through the draft. I think Shanahan has done a decent job in that regard.

I blame this on Ed Hercules. We should have had the TD that got called back on Fred Davis' illegal motion crap call. Thus, no torn achilles a few plays later.

Get healthy Fred, we'll miss you badly.

Fred Davis out with Achilles tendon injury. Not good news.

I remember when we were mad that a TE was drafted (I was one of them). Now there are no good tight ends on the team.

Damn right, for all of our failings on D, I really fell that Garcon not being out there is hurting this team more than anything. These close games just wouldn't be close with a #1 WR out there. RG3 would be on another level to the one that he already is, imo.

My hope is we get him back in time for the divisional games in November. Even with all our unexpected key injury and total defensive woes, i see a likelihood that my "optimist" prediction of an 8-8 seaosn (made in pre-season) is a real possibility.
"Captain, it's a viewpoint--not one of ours! We're under attack!"

"I see it, ensign! Engage amygdala! Transfer all power from frontal lobes!

Suspend critical thinking field! Go to course heading of reflexive response 101 at full bias!
    Now!'Enter' at will!"

"It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so."

I agree. I was thinking that with a few breaks, we could challenge for a wild card. Unfortunately, the breaks have gone the other way. Our safety position has to be the most plagued postion in football.

I think Paulsen is a solid TE. Great blocker and underrated receiver.
I think Niles Paul at TE is hilarious.
