I cant help but think that whats going on with Fletcher now has something to do with him missing a few games in the pre-season when Mike didnt want to disclose his injury...anyone remember that? i think i made a topic...of course it was closed. and deleted...SMH

Fred wants to say here...they will pay him...and he will take it...the good thing about having rg3 is we can attract free agents...and also more players will look to re-sign with the skins.

i think you keep him out until we have no shot at the playoffs, then put him on IR. if we IR him now and make a run for the playoffs, we'd be kicking ourselves for not having him available

Yeah why not wait. I'm sure even if he has the surgery in January he will be good to go by the start of next season. May as well wait to see if we get him back for a playoff run.

my mother has a condition where a tiny peice of something occasionally comes loose inside her inner ear, and when it does, it causes such severe vertigo that she has to spend all day lying down and throwing up, and is completely miserable for the duration. the doctors say there's nothing anyone can do about it. i hope london doesn't have something similar.

I've done the inner ear dizzy vertigo before. It sucked, and everything they gave me for it put me to sleep...right up until I was given valium. Something tells me the chill melo feelings from valium run a bit contrary to the attitude we need from a linebacker...If that is what he has, I'll be amazed if he can play.
I believe my job as a parent is to give my kids all the blocks they need to build a life in which they can attempt to reach everything they strive for and see anything they can imagine. In a world where everybody finds it easier to destroy than build, I wish for my kids to experience the joy of seeing something for the first time and the love of creating something new.

Really hope he sits if he's still feeling dizzy.

231 games is a damn impressive streak but his long term health is paramount.

Our defense will struggle (even more) without him, but I want him 100% healthy so that we can get another year or two out of him before he retires.

So what they are saying about Garcon is that they knew about it and the capsule thingy they kept talking about is the same as the torn ligament.

Actually, his balance issue could be a sign of a serious medical issue. I just hope that Fletcher is OK. His career may be in jeopardy but his health is most important. Fletcher is a MAJOR asset to this team, both on and off the field. If he cannot play, rest assured that he will be on the sidelines getting the team fired up. He is the ultimate team player and will remain so even if sidelined for awhile.

Its not looking good for London, especially with the current context around head injuries and concussions - quite rightly by the way. I will be surprised if London plays Sunday.

As for Garcon it will be a surprise to me if he is NOT sent to IR after the bye week unless he makes a sudden improvement with a couple of weeks rest. A torn tendon does not sound like something that fixes itself in a couple of weeks though .....

    Agreed.

Garcon can rest up and/or get surgery and go on IR.

Fletcher having a concussion would be much more serious.

Garcon should not go on IR until we are out of playoff contention.

Concussion has been ruled out for Fletcher.
