41 and 31 yarders should be automatic. I don't even care about near 60 yard misses. Those attempts are just icing if they go through but if they're missed I simply don't hold them against the kicker. But there is no excuse for not being 3-4 in this game, 2-4 at a minimum and I would still not be happy with it. Tampa Bay had no business being in this game just like we should have done to the Rams. We finally have a QB but somehow, someway we find a way to continue to play Redskins football and let teams stay right there so that it's always a nail biter at the end. It is indescribably frustrating and painful.

Barth certainly had no problem hitting from outside 50 -- he managed 2.

Cundiff is this year's Tebow. All he does is win

He's also the best kicker in the league right now. Pretty sure he's made 25+ in a row regardless of distance. Congrats to him but I still wouldn't expect him to hit a 57 yarder let alone be pissed at him if he didn't.

Cundiff is a bum, NFL kickers hit it from 50 beyond routinely nowadays, 40 is chip shot. This guy can't hit a 50 harder if he had to save his nuts, now he can't even hit it from 40, bye bye cundiff I never liked you, time to be cut from your third team.

I'm glad he was able to pull it together and make the game winner.

Today we almost felt the pain that Ravens fans did after last year. I want him gone tomorrow and a kicker carousel to start, but he probably bought himself a week with that last kick.

I don't care that he makes the last one. We should've never been in that position.

Let's at least get some competition in here this week.

I honestly think Gano was the better option in the long run

Great. The "we won...but" crowd. Enjoy the win. We might not get a lot of them this year.

Their both as averagely poor as each other.

No coincidence Gano is still looking for work.

    Hail.

Gano is objectively a better kicker. Take away the blocks (all inside 40) and the stupid directional kicking and you have a guy who is near perfect insode 48 who gets touchbacks at an insane rate and can threaten a 60+ yard kick depending on conditions.

Rackers should be able to kick long enough to find a new kicker. Houston couldn't afford him, but he was still a good kicker.

I'm cool with that, as long as Cundiff is sent to the Jets as well
