I'm sitting here at 11.55am on Tuesday morning, having just mowed the lawn, and the Nats v Mets game is on live.

What I'm wondering is why is the Nats pitcher (#22 Storen) wearing a piece of rope around his neck? Is that to remind him that his neck is on the line, or is it a personal choice?

I can understand if it was bling, but a piece of rope!
