So does this performance in New Orleans change anyone's views on how effective Redskins players will be in the fantasy football world this season? Most leagues and mock drafts i saw didn't have any of the skins ranked near the top of their position, (maybe Fred Davis highest but still below the likes of Graham or Grokowski)
I actually played RGIII in my league, who I got in like the 10th round.
Not only that i started Alfred Morris, who i got in the 15th.
Combined with the fact that my perennial team always consists of the redskins kicker, defense, and special teams (I always chose them as my homer picks), I had a pretty productive day (18 points for a kicker are you serious?!)
In the past, I usually played fantasy football as a way to distract me from the heartbreaking losses that occur every sunday. Certainly this season I picked my Redskins players with optimism, but I can honestly say they've far exceeded my expectations.
Just one more reason this team is going to be fun to follow this season, wondering if anyone else have any similar stories of fantasy success by going with hometown pick against the experts advice? Any late round steals? Im considering getting Robinson off the waiver wire he definitley put himself on the map this week.
Cheers to my fellow skins fans
