Growing up, I always knew my dad was somewhat of a social democrat, most likely influenced by his parents. My mother, however, I’m a little unsure with. She’s always been one to say “I don’t need to tell you who I vote for – that’s my business” , although I think she votes R most of the time.

It’s funny – she used to do secretary work for the Carter & Reagan administrations in DC. She would always say “When we had a republican in office, we always had a little more money. When a democrat was in office, we always had more fun”. Thought that was pretty funny!
