The least hardest league to figure out who will go to the playoffs/finals/win a championship.

I know some of you don't follow the WNBA, but the curse of Washington lives. Mystics went 5-29 with a chance to draft Brittany Griner, but not only did Phoenix end up with the #1 pick, the Mystics dropped to 4th with the Chicago Sky moving into the top 3. This was the 2nd year for the WNBA to have a lottery. LA Sparx got the #1 pick last year. Sounds like David Stern is involved in that league also.

That's a shame. I might have started tuning in for Griner. I can't commit to yet another sport and another league without a big draw on the team or a genuine love for the game.

I like how people are already crowning the Lakers as Western Conference champions and I said this before, I'll say it again, I'm a Lakers homer but there is no certainty that they will win the West. The West is too up-in-arms to decide a champion.

You can crown Heat East champs already, because no one is even close to the Heat's level, and they just reload with talent. But what if San Antonio can summon one last push from the elders and make the Finals? What if the young Thunder manage to make it back? Lakers are not assured anything

2k won that war a while ago. The NBA 2k games are the best sports games. I'm excited for the new one coming out early next month. They simplified the dribble and shooting moves to make them more streamlined and natural and easier to execute. More complicated to master at first, but once you do, you'll be able to get them off quicker. I'll be able to really shred with good PGs now. I'll need something to keep me excited while John Wall is injured.

NBA 2K > NBA Live. I'm actually glad 2K stepped up and made a far better basketball game than EA. EA is only known for football and soccer now(as far as sports goes). When does 2K drop anyways?

Also I'm not crowning the Lakers either ix. DH12 is down til Jan, so now the lineup is as follows:
PG - Nash
SG - K. Bryant
C- Clark
SF - World Peace
PF - Gasol

What intrigues me about this years team is that the bench has improved with the signing of Meeks. It's going to be a very interesting season.

Howard is determined to play against the Dallas Mavericks on Oct. 30 at Staples Center, and his progress in recent weeks has strengthened the possibility, sources said.
Howard has privately indicated his back has returned to 85 percent strength, sources said. He had surgery for a herniated disc in April and still needs doctor's clearance to engage in full training-camp activities with the Lakers. Los Angeles opens its training camp Tuesday.
The Lakers have been reluctant to make public a timetable on Howard's return, and have maintained a cautious approach to protect his long-term health.
Howard has been working with Lakers coaches and trainers at the team's practice facility, and has shown an increased range of motion, but has yet to engage in five-on-five or significant contact situations.
