Rashard Lewis, 4/6 from 3. I'm not sure he even hit 4 3's with the Wizards. He probably hit two 3's and 94 bricks.

He also was seen paying attention and playing hard. Two things he never did in DC as the highest paid player in the NBA.

Edit... Over 40 now on 19 shots.

And rockets win again. Harden is 14/19 45points.
    Lamb will replace him...easily.

This has a chance to be a historically awful trade.

    I really dislike him.

They look lost in that offense and its throwing everything else off. Nash didnt sound thrilled when asked about even if he did give a positive and safe response.

And we are not a team thats going to start winning things tomorrow either.
Beal's not going to be a superstar. But there's major doubt Drummond is even going to be a decent NBA player. There were big questions about his competitiveness.

I liked Drummond. But I would have taken Beal or TRob over him and I'm glad we got Beal. Don't sleep on how good a fit he's going to be with Wall. I don't think you could draw up a more complimentary 2 guard.

and "how he responded to the situation?" He was 19 years old and their coach checked out on the team. Plus Shabazz Napier, their point guard, was a terrible point guard.
Being 19 isn't an excuse for gunning. There are some guys who will do that and others who won't. Could you see TRob, MKG, Davis, or Beal doing it if things went south for them? Some guys will not put themselves above the team, others will.

    NO HE DOESNT, LMAO.

Lamb is taller, has a bigger frame, and is longer. And how can Lamb be a less versatile player when he can at least dribble a basketball. Beal is a catch and shoot player.
Lamb has a bigger frame? You're joking right? To use my friend Samuels's word, Lamb is an ectomorph. He's extremely thin at his joints and narrow through his shoulders and hips. There's only so much bulk he can add. Beal's a tad shorter and not as long armed, but he's still long for the position with 6'8 wingspan and 8'4 standing reach. And he's significantly more strapped together, has broad shoulders and a good amount of bulk already on his frame and he's a year younger than Lamb.

Lamb is longer, but Beal's got a better NBA body.

the pre MJ prototypical 2guard. You need an athalete [/Barkley] out on the wing that can get to the basket. Beal is a decent athlete, but is not getting by these freak 2guards in the league.
I think you're underselling Beal's athleticism a bit. And I think you're also overselling the quality of athletes at the SG position today. James Harden has no problem getting to the rim and he's not that great an athlete. Same for Manu. A lot of the best players at the position don't rely on their athleticism to score. And a lot of the best athletes at the position aren't that great of players.

Regardless, penetration isn't what Beal's game hinges on. Nor does it need to be for him to score. His game is about shooting from range and finding good shots in a variety of ways. He is a classic off guard that can do work for the offense away from the ball. That's what you want when you've got a ball dominant point like Wall who needs the ball in his hands a ton.

I have no idea. I believe in that guy's talent and I believe that seeing KD and Russy will be good for him
Well if anyone can rub off on him, you'd think it would be those two. But I don't have faith in that. An NBA player has got to be a self starter and have that drive. I don't see that in PJIII. I believe that's why he fell so far in the draft.

If Smith is a perimeter big, while Howard has to stay around the basket, I think that works out great for both. Gives Howard more space. It also allows the Kobster to post up more.

And the Lakers need more athletes.

Gasol was getting abused by Brandon Wright, I just dont see it.

I do agree with you about Smith's mental lapses tho, but then again so does Gasol.
I think Smith would be good for LA. I just like pairing Pau with Dwight better. But Smith is a good deal younger so he'd be good long term.

To me, the most intimidating think about this Lakers team is the twin towers construction.

Also, the Lakers have Dwight. You can't get a much better athlete than that--when he's his normal self. They'll look more athletic once Dwight's back is healed. I think the problems with athleticism are more at the spots in the backcourt.

If Im the Lakers, I ditch him.
Why? I don't see the need to. He's an excellent player that's an ideal second star for Dwight to play with. He's a skill player who is going to age well too.

They should be better defensively though. They've got World Peace, Dwight, and Pau. They're giving up offensive boards and easy penetration. They need to fire their coach and try and salvage this thing somehow.

And yeah, the offense is a problem. I think the theory behind it was run the Princeton, you've got three elite scorers, let them find their spots, get the ball to them, and then let them do work and score on their own.

The issue is there is just absolutely no offensive flow. They can't put good runs together despite their talent because they aren't playing complimentary basketball.

Though I hate to be a downer. That definitely looks staged to me. How do you go from holding a beer to rubbing someone's head without realizing what you're doing? Then there is his reaction after the fact. A normal person would feel terrible about it, not laugh at the guy. I think he and his buddy set that up. Well done though.
