yeah man, that's what a lot of friends back home have been telling me today. Wizards are starting to gel, and they got Wall back, and have been playing better basketball lately.

I know it sounds like a broken record, but win or lose, I just want this team to play good basketball the rest of the season. I really want to see a healthy Wizards team with a lottery draft pick next year to start off the season. We just need to start off semi-hot next year, that'll be a nice change from the last 5 years or so, to see this team with a shot at the playoffs after the first 10 games haha.

It's hard to hear but the best thing for the Wizards right now is to look good in losses. For Wall, Beal, and Nene to really show they are good and can be the foundation of something good. And for our chances at getting a high pick in the draft to accumulate. Wall & Beal need one more top notch young piece that can be a potential star to form the three star construction. I think you can probably get that in this draft with Shabazz or Nerlens or Zeller.

MVP level does not only consist of scoring. You have to make your team mates better. If it was all about scoring, KD would be mvp the last three years as well as the next 10 years lol. I find it funny how when the lakers arent doing well, NO ONE blames kobe. But when they do well, its all because of kobe. Look at that Lineup they have, and they are 17-22. Common now. They blamed Mike brown, so they fired him and brought D'antoni, and they still arent good. Now people are blaming management? What more could management do then surround kobe with a former two time mvp, a 3 time defensive MVP and arguably the best center in the league, an all star in pau gasol, and a former defensive mvp in world peace (i may be wrong, but still a great defender).

only the lakers who are 11th in the west would have garner 2 starting players in the all star game. I thought guys like Kevin Love shouldn't make it because their team suck.

BOSTON -- Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett is still a dirty player, according to Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah.
Umm... duh? Why was this suddenly raised as a newsworthy story? KG is who he is. He's not going to suddenly stop being a ***** after 17 years.

I'll say it again: KG is LONG overdue for a beatdown. I am amazed he's lasted this long in the league without getting his sissy ass pummeled, at least once.

Regarding the 6th man of the year, check out this mildly hilarious comparison:

    Player A: PER 36

    20.7 ppg on 42% shooting, 2.2 rbs, 3.0 ast, 1.3 stls, 2.4 TOs, Per 17.2, TS 55.3%

    Player B: PER 36

    18.0 ppg on 41% shooting, 5.4 rbs, 3.2 ast, 1.4 stls, 1.7 TOs, PER 16.1, TS 49.6%

    Player C:PER 36

    18.9 ppg on 42% shooting, 4.8 rbs, 5.5 ast, .9 stls, 3.1 TOs, PER 16.3, TS 51.3%

one of them really doesn't belong in the discussion, but stats are pretty even across the board. Player B is probably the worse on here surprisingly.

Lot of TALK that Kings are moving to Seattle, and now the sale approval is "just a formality"

It is very sad because I grew up watching the Kings and their WCF run

Adamant that the WCF that year was one of the best in the 2000's and probably hasn't been a better once since

However I am also sad that the Sonics lost their team because some owner was a coward. I also spent some time down in Seattle this summer, and I visited Key Arena. It is a good place. It is a city that loves their sports teams very much

Seatle will give the Kings a good home, but it is very sad that the Kings have to bolt like this.

I've never been more proud to be part of Sacramento than I was last week. Keep the faith! Keep the passion! This fight has just begun!!!!

The Maloof family that owns the Sacramento Kings has reached a purchase agreement to sell a 65 percent controlling interest in the franchise to a Seattle group led by Chris Hansen and Steve Ballmer, according to league sources.

Sources told ESPN.com that NBA teams were formally notified Sunday night that the Kings have been valued at $525 million and that the parties have executed a purchase agreement, which still requires league approval.

The agreement to transfer the 65 percent majority stake in the Kings to the Seattle group represents the 53 percent owned by the Maloofs and an additional 12 percent from minority owner Bob Hernreich. Sources said that there has not yet been an agreement submitted on the remaining 35 percent of the franchise, which is held by minority shareholders, not the Maloofs.

I agree. It's gonna be sad if the Kings lose their team. But, like you said, Seattle should have never lost theirs to begin with. And I'm glad they will be getting a team again. From everything I've heard/read, that is a cool city that loves their basketball. And the "Supersonics" nickname (Sonics, too) is probably my all time favorite. I used to love their green jerseys with Sonics across the chest.

Also, can't wait til the Hornets name is back in Charlotte.

I think the Pelicans are actually gonna look legit.

The Lakers have looked pretty damn impressive these past two games. I think Kobe needs to continue being a distributor. They are playing as a team now.

And yeah, that Pelicans logo looks pretty legit. Never thought they could make a Pelican look mean.

I'm not a huge fan of Skip Bayless, but he may be on to something when he talks about Russell WestBRICK.
