I completely agree. I know a lot of people are on the Kevin Durant bandwagon, but for as good as Lebron is...dude took his game to a completely different level. It's scary how dominant he is on both ends of the floor.

OKC has to play Miami in the finals again this year. Nobody else would be as interesting. Though I wouldn't mind seeing SA in the finals to see Tim Duncan go for one more ring. I also wouldn't mind seeing the Knicks make it.

It'd be pretty epic if KD and LeBron trade off rings and MVPs for the next few years. If we get some rematches I think those two will be this generation's Bird and Magic.

If the Thunder make the finals against Miami, I'll be pulling for OKC. If the Clippers make it against Miami, I'll be pulling hard for Miami. If the Knicks or Spurs make it, I'll probably pull for them against whoever. Like I said, I'd like to see Duncan get another ring and I'd like to see Carmelo get a ring.

Why couldn't Steve Nash have signed with the Knicks instead of the Lakers? How awesome would that have been?

Oh, I dunno. I kind of like the idea of the Kings going to Seattle. Seattle should have never lost their team in the first place. To me, it's a bigger travesty that the Hornets left Charlotte than it is the Kings possibly leaving town.

Charlotte was not without a team for long...and will reclaim the Hornets name if NO sticks with the Pelicans. Kinda like Cleveland losing the Browns.

I do agree about the Kings however. They are playing in a city that barely follows them these days. Seattle needs a team...why not the Kings ? I feel like they are similar to Baltimore regarding football. They lost the Colts...for a while and the city grew and deserved it. Again...similar, not the same.

Yeah, I know Charlotte got a team a few years later. But it wasn't wanted. The taxpayers voted against building the arena downtown. Bob Johnson was one of the worst owners in the history of sports, etc.

My point was, the Hornets were great for Charlotte. The fans there supported that team well. Charlotte Hornets merchandise is still a huge hit, years later. To me, it's a much bigger loss for the city of Charlotte than the Kings leaving would be to Sacramento. And what do you mean "if" NO sticks with the Pelicans? It's a done deal. And Charlotte reclaiming the Hornets name will eventually happen. I have no doubt about it. I think they only have to pay around 3 million to get the name back.

Of course, just getting the name back isn't going to automatically mean things will go back like they used to be. Jordan will have to put a better team on the floor for that to happen.

8 wins in a row now for the Nuggets, 21-3 at home. Gallinari and Lawson are finally starting to find their roles as leaders and stepping up when needed. Igoudala is becoming more aggressive, which is what George karl wants from him. Kenneth Faried is my favorite player, that dude has a motor. he always goes full tilt.

Denver was down by 10 points with 8 minutes left in the game, and then went on a defensive tear, causing 5 turnovers in 8 possessions. Lawson hit a monster 3 and Gallo hit a Kobe'esque circus layup for the and 1 to seal it. They've moved up to 4th place in the west and have the 2nd best record in the NBA since December 1st.

The Los Angeles Lakers will be without Pau Gasol for at least six weeks as he recovers from a partially-torn fascia, according to Ken Berger of CBS Sports.

Berger further reports that Gasol could have several options in recovering from the injury suffered in a win against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night. He could rehab the injury in what could take six to eight weeks, or the Lakers forward could opt for surgery and miss 10-12 weeks of time, according to Berger.

Lin is way too inconsistent. Houston has a pretty good team this year, but once (if) they get into the playoffs, they're gonna be exposed. They aren't a team built for the playoffs. Lin will be a major reason why they don't go far. He can't guard anyone either.
