team shaq is way better than team Chuck.
Denver Nuggets win their 9th in a row (currently the longest winning streak in the league), and have the best record in the NBA since January 1st.

They are playing well. But, as with Houston, they are not built for the playoffs. They don't really have a go to guy. They do have 7 or 8 guys (maybe more) that can score double digits on any given night. But no guys they can consistently count on to score.
Love watching them play. But I can't see them being a major factor in the playoffs. However, I do like their chances a lot better than Houston's, should they get in.
It's looking more and more like a Miami-OKC rematch. And I'm ok with that.

I was curious about Full Court Press. You know, the defensive scheme. Has anyone seen it in the NBA?
Ha, is that gone the way of the two handed free throw?
Aside from those last second of the game / half type plays. But more like in college game when a team that's trailing will go a run and press the court to try and force a turnover.
I just though of it. I can't think of a recent time that I've seen it.
I've not spent nearly as much time this year watching the NBA not that it really matters. For the most part I've gravitated toward the stereotype that the NBA as the "no D league," which please take with a grain a salt as humorous rather than actual criticism.
The last coach to attempt to run a lot of full-court presses was Rick Pitino when he was in Boston. It failed spectacularly (and that was in an era where the point guard position was rather weak and you could hand check). It requires way too much energy and is way too susceptible to easy baskets for the offense once they break it.
Seriously, how many lob dunks to do you think the Clippers would get if a team pressed them a lot?

Big teams can still Miami trouble. I just don't see any of those team getting a matchup with them. OKC is just not built to exploit Miami's weaknesses.
PS Lebron is basically a video game player right now.

I was liking them up until I saw the second pic and that he wasn't wearing a compression shirt underneath, but that it was actually part of the uniform. Too college-y. It also makes zero sense to have pinstripes on the shorts and not on the jersey. A traditional jersey, with or without full pinstripes, would look vicious. That just looks kind of incomplete, sort of like those gold/black Wizards jerseys from a few years back.

Love the jersey with sleeves. The tanks have been outdated for a long time and hurt merchandise sales.
I couldn't put up LeBron's numbers on NBA 2K13 on HoF difficulty.
On normal difficulty I could crush them though. I can say that because I currently am. I'm at the All Star break scoring 29 a game with 10 RPG, 6 APG, 2 BPG, and I lead the league in 3s made... shooting 66% from the field, 60% from 3, and 99% from the FT line. I've got a 32 PER and am leading the league in average game score and win shares... as a rookie SF playing just 30 minutes per game.

Those Golden State jerseys are absolutely hideous. Then again, the ones they have now aren't much to speak of either. I like encorporating the Golden Gate bridge into the jersey. But how can they not make these things look any better? Too much gold? Maybe go back to putting more blue into them, is about the only thing I can think of. I know I would hate to wear either their current or that new jersey pictured above. Both are just horrible, imo.
Just heard a crazy stat...Since coming into the league in 2003, Lebron James has scored 29 more points than Kobe, and he's done so on 526 fewer shots. Wow.
