But anyway, no one's beating the Heat this year. And it's starting to look as if the Heat are in OKC's head. I honestly see the Heat beating them in 5 if OKC makes it that far.

I think there is a big question as to how many titles Lebron is going to be able to get. He's in his 10th season and has 1 and could end the year with his second. I think Kobe and Jordan had three by the end of their 10th seasons. The difference is that the luxury tax is going to break the Heat up after next season. If the big three win a title this year and next lebron will have three titles going into his 12 season at 30 years old without his "big three". His ability to get 2 more and tie Kobe or 3 more and tie Jordan will be largely impacted by where he plays and what they can afford to put around him.

Having said all that if I had to choose between the two in their primes for one season I'd take the Lebron we saw come into existence during last years post season. The Lebron with a low post offensive game that can't be forced into taking bad jumpers. He's more versatile on both ends of the floor and a much more efficient player, while still putting up around 30 points .

I think MJ had it right. I'd take Kobe, too. Like he said, we already know what Kobe has accomplished. The jury's still out on Lebron. Yeah, he's likely not done winning titles, but it could just be one more. Who knows.

I think it's kind of a silly question to ask, anyway. I mean, guys can't soley be judged on the number of titles they win. Look at Barry Sanders. Is he not in the conversation of best RBs to ever play the game, because he doesn't have a ring?

RB's aren't judged on titles. QB's and superstar basketball players are. With that being said, LeBron is a different animal than he was a couple of years ago. Dude is slowly turning into that assassin that MJ and Kobe were.

I feel the same way. Never was a huge LeBron fan, but there is no one who can deny what he is doing right now. It just doesn't seem fair.

It's no secret that most of the Wizards on here hate Lebron. I was easily one of them. But I can't hate any longer. He has done all the things I ever wanted him to do. Now all he has to do is win some more rings....

I am not going to diminished MJ and Kobe's legacy, but their "teams" were always better than the teams Lebron had to play with.

Who are you going to take the 98 Bulls, the 00 Lakers, or last year's Heat team. I will slap you if you say the Heat. Yeah they got Lebron, Wade, and Bosh, but come on. And MJ and Kobe had Phil Jackson.

That's why it's so hard to weigh superstars against each other when it comes to rings, it's just too many variables to consider.

Not a chance in hell I take Kobe over Lebron. I don't even care what Kobe's career accolades are. Lebron is a FAR superior player.

Magic is straight up hatin on this young man. IMO, MJ is still the greatest, but he would not beat Lebron in One-On-One 10 straight times. LeBron could very well win that contest.

LOOL. Why are they hating so much. He must be afraid that Lebron would beat him so he has to bring up Jordan. I'm pretty sure Lebron could be Jordan at least once and wouldn't be surprised if he took the series. Lebron does have the height and size. Wish it was possible to see.

The whole ring thing is overblown. Bill Russel has 11 championships. But hes never regarded as the best ever. Kenny Smith made a great point last night, LeBron and Michael didnt have the luxary of being the 2nd best player on the team. Kobe had a prime Shaq as the best player on the team and the person who won finals MVP 3 of his 5 championships. No one could afford to double team Kobe because they had to worry about double and triple teaming shaq downlow. Michael never had the luxary, Lebron never had and never will have the luxary. Sure he has Dwade now, but LeBron has always still been THE best player on the team.

Currently, Lebron is the best player in the world. For the career, obviously Kobe is better, but only because LeBron is half way done. I think if LeBron finished his career with just one championship, but continued to dominate the way he has, he will for sure have 6 or 7 MVPs, many broken records, and will be considered top 5 all time no doubt. Barring any injury.

I think Michael is just looking over his shoulder now cause he's worried TBH. Would he say the same thing, "11 will always be more than 6" if asked to compare him self to bill russel, or "7 will always be more than 6" when comparing himself to Robert Horry? Hell no.
