I know. I agree. With this league though, the Skins should know to just take it and walk off. I tell my students at my middle school all the time to not give teachers and excuse to call their name. Just blend in and you won't be in any trouble. All Hall did was set himself up for a call like that.
Ok, here is me saying my peace on DeAngelo Hall as far as today and overall:
When DeAngelo Hall was signed, it was known going in that his coverage ability was suspect. He was an athletic cornerback that could make plays and really hurt an offense if he got his hands on the ball. He had a decent end to that season which got him the contract, which was way to much for his level of play, but at the time that is what Snyder and this team was known for. When Hall first signed with the team, the biggest difference on the defense overall was a competent pass rush. This in turn, allowed Hall to take chances, jump routes, use his athleticism to play off the ball and the damage could be minimized. This resulted in Hall making a lot of plays, even though he was burned sometimes. Fast forward to this season, and without a pass rush, it falls on to the secondary, especially cornerbacks, to cover the WRs. Hall simply cannot do this. Where before, he could play 5 yards off a WR and the pass rush would force a QB to rush a throw, so Hall could jump a route. Now instead, Hall is the same 5 yards away, but the ball is being thrown right on time and Hall is left to try and cover the play which he can't do. It is just a lack of ability, but again any GM or scout knew all of this about Hall going into giving him a contract. I can't imagine Bruce Allen or Haslett could have predicted just how awful the pass rush would be this season, let-alone after the injuries to Orakpo and Carriker. This has totally changed the secondary and the defense overall, and the lack of skill on the personnel itself is glowing.
Things are only getting worse because now teams have film to dissect just how bad this defense is and exploit every part of it, which was shown today. The run defense, normally stout was ready to collapse by the 4th quarter, to no fault of their own really.
Now, as far as today's outburst goes. It was just inexcusable. The frustration is understandable, however ripping your helmet off, dropping multiple F-bombs at the official, then continuing to try and track down that official while other officials and teammates are trying to hold him back? Just ridiculous, and I would not be surprised with a suspension coming his way. Deserved.
WITH THAT SAID, lets examine what set Hall off in the first place (besides the game overall). Hall was basically suplexed by the WR after the play was over. Watch the replay, two guys jaw at each other, and then Hall is picked up and lifted off his feet and suplexed, and the officials just stand there and watch this, all of this happening after the play, mind you. Regardless of Hall's actions after the fact that definitely deserved the flag and ejection, how in the flying you-know-what is a flag not thrown on the WR for his actions AFTER THE PLAY IS OVER?
I am growing very tired of the way the NFL seemingly allows "physical teams" to play more physical than teams not "known" for playing physical. The officials sat on numerous situations that the Steelers defense would have been called for had they not been the Steelers at home.
Ok now allow me to be done with this topic forever.

I just want to add, is anyone else massively pissed off about that DB that tried to claim an interception? I say Skins start treating every dead ball like a fumble
Should be fun breaking the panthers 5 game losing streak next week...that's how the skins roll.PATHETIC!!!!!!
another blocked kick, this time a PAT? Seriously? Danny Smith, at what point do you decide to fix this stuff?

Vinny Cerrato believes he gave Jim Zorn a roster that can make the playoffs. A playoff kicker doesn't miss that kick. A playoff safety doesn't bite multiple times by a double move in the same game.Originally Posted by suze109

Can't be mad at the DB, what I am mad, or more LOLing in disbelief over, is how quick the officials ran over to call it an INT. I mean, when you see the play live, if ANTYTHING it looks like a TD, that was ripped out of Aldrick's hands after he comes down with the ball, which would have been a TD at the point of the contract, but the officials seemed over-eager to run over to the endzone (two of them mind you) and immediately make sure to call it a touchback, when the replay couldn't have been any more clear that it was an incompletion.

"Whilst" is a word only used by pseudointellectuals trying to make themselves sound intelligent.
Q: What do you call a drug ring in Dallas?
A: A huddle!

The Skins are just light on talent, especially on defense. Three years in to this and the only very good defensive player brought in has been Kerrigan. What a joke.
