Jordan Black played like crap...we can all agree on that. But two of the above photos (post 553) are somewhat of a fail.

Photo 2 and 3 are not sequential, in fact they are not even the same PLAY...but the captions would have you believe that they are sequentials of a spin move on Black. However, photo 2 clearly shows Black engaged at the 28 yard line while the "spin move" is happening at the 23...most likely to Chester. Photo 3 is of Black getting beat on a completely different play.

Maybe we can land a safety but cb arent found usually in the 3rd round.
2nd round picks spent on corners can turn out pretty well. But keep in mind this caveat, rookie corners usually struggle no matter where they were drafted.

I agree that he was great with the Preds. It made arena football as watchable as possible.

The second was a good play by the receiver but the greats make that play. The first went right to him and he dropped it.
Exactly, the TEs in this league are different from yester-year. He's great for the run but his pass coverage has been countlessly exposed. I just don't see it improving as the season is going along.

Yep, we shoulda gone for it. Morris woulda made it.
I wouldn't call it gutless or stupid, though. Just surprised Shanahan changed his mind.

True, but who do we replace him with? There's no other LB other than maybe Riley, and I am in no position to say he is or isn't, who can cover as a LB on passing situations.

Are we really doing that bad, we beat the saints in their home, then lost to the rams by a couple of points and to the bengals by a couple of points, at least we are now competative, i can see the light at the end of the tunnel and every year it gets brighter and the future looks better

Yes, we are that bad. We beat a Saints team that can't find it's way out of their own locker room without Sean Payton, we lost to a Rams team that couldn't even score a TD the following week & then we lost to the Bengals...it's the Bengals.

Offensively, we are far more competitive then we used to be. But defensively, I wouldn't be surprised if a High School team could run up the score on us.

Look at that, GB goes to hurry up, and Seattle burns a timeout.

I wish Shanahan would once a game at least try a no huddle play.

Anyone else starting to feel sorry for RG3? I'm asking seriously b/c I am and I don't know why.

He's such a great kid, has played so terrific right out of the gate and yet virtually every other aspect of this team that has been "built up" the past two years is pathetic and struggling to keep up with him.

The dread I have for this guy to be associated with this franchise is starting to outweigh the elation of having him come here. I don't want them to ruin him and yet I know somehow, it's coming...I know it b/c they're all worse than he is, the coaches, the players, everyone...what are you doing here Robert? Don't you know what this place is? Dude, get the **** out of here and have a great career somewhere please...save yourself.

Win or lose it would appear Pete Carroll has put together more of a team than the Great Shanahan...

Ugh, Chris Clemons, ex Skin....(before ****-ahan)...I'm gonna go throw up now.

    Redskins What about Cooley now?

Going into week 4 , this is the production from our TEs.
    F.Davis / 11- receptions, 263 yds, 0 TDs.
    N.Paul / 3 - receptions, 13 yds, 0 TDs
    L.Paulson / 1 - reception, 22 yds, 0 TDs
Am I wrong to think maybe that this team could of use a experienced, healthy Cooley?
Just seems to me if your "franchise" TE is only grabbing 3 catches a game, has 0 TDs,
and from what Ive seen isnt giving much help on the edge when he is blocking. Should
the Skins consider getting Chris on the phone?. HTTR.

I feel sorry for III because when the game has been on the line, Shanahan has been deferring to his kickers. Kicking a 62 yd over allowing him to try for 16 yds.... I suspect III wishes he was out there instead.

And then in the 3rd yesterday, our offense is rolling, unstoppable after halftime, all the momentum. Bengals call a time out as we line up to go 4th and 1.... so we punt. Shanahan second guessed his own call. I bet every Bengal fan was thrilled we punted. A touchback and a failed review, III on the bench, we lost all the mo and eventually the game. Its old school to punt but its dumb to punt when your defense is struggling.

III was unstoppable running that triple option. Its why we got him, to flat out make plays. Yet Shanahan playing not to lose, lost, while his best player is on the bench. III has to win games for us, we have no defense. And our teams aren't so good either.
