This is a growing year but anything less than 10 wins next year is a failure.

Alright, I get where you are coming from. I am jumping to my negative conclusion way to early.
That goes both way and most redskins fans are coming to their positive conclusions way to early.

RG3 will down as the best redskins qb in the modern era.
How is it ignorant? Ignorant because I disagree with you?
The guy runs too much it only makes sense to say he will be injured on a regular basis.
I never said he himself suck, I don't care how good you are, what kind of a difference can be made from injured reserve?
I agree 100% but have to wonder why it is happening. The players and defense in general are largely the same as last year. The only thing really added is Raheem to coach the secondary. Instead of the defense naturally improving it has taken a huge quantum leap backwards. Ironically Raheem's secondary is hot trash through 3 games. He has to be the difference unless losing Landry and Atogwe are really that much greater of an impact than anybody realized. It has to be Morris as either A) The Problem ie a horrible secondary coach B) A Distraction C) Undermining Haslett D) Caused Haslett to stop caring

Try of any era...how is that for being realistic?
I think it is fair to expect the defense to not give up over 30 points per game, and I think it is fair to expect not to hold your breath on punts.
What was not expected (maybe it was) was RG3's stellar play which is ironically getting drowned out from the defense being under fire everywhere, lets not scoff at a total 7 TDs and 1 INT with a 68% completion for nearly 800 yards, that is unheard of for a rookie and we have a star player for once.
The rest of the team (and some of the staff) are letting the offense down is the problem.
Well you are guessing about what may happen in the future. I am basing my argument over what DID happen in the past and not one quarterback that matches RG3 has been superbowl bound. Hell is there even one quarterback like him in the hall?
And yes, Vick was a okay quarterback, nothing great by any means.
I have to see to believe, so when i see multiple quarterbacks like RG3 tearing up the league then i will agree with you. So you enjoy your "Guessing" game of what a prototype future quarterback will be.
Sounds to me like i am the one who has a clue since I am basing my argument on FACTS based on the past and not illusions based on the future of what you assume will happen.

Vick is more run first oriented but you can still make a comparison between the two.
Steve Young and John Elway..Two quarterbacks out of how many?

I also want to say I am going to be so happy if I am wrong.
Vick = 1971 Beetle
RGIII = Bugatti Veyron
Which would you rather have in your garage?
No one expected this defense to be this porous, especially when it was the defense which kept us in quite a few games last year. Overall most of the talent is still here, even with a few players gone, it shouldn't be this bad.
God, how come every time I try to type something it ends up with my distaste for Haslett?![]()
The press asked a Redskins executive about the salary cap penalty and the executive responded, "Ask John Mara." So the press asked Mara and he said, “What they did was in violation of the spirit of the salary cap. "
Oh I see now, even though there was no actual salary cap in 2010 according to the CBA, the "spirit" of the salary cap still existed. Thanks for clearing that up Mara.
