During the game yesterday did anybody else see when they showed his mom in the stands? While on camera she pulled out car keys and cleaned out her left ear with one of them.
So that's another reason a car-related nickname might work.

they come when they come ... that is the problem with today and nicknames, people want them to happen magically or they get lazy (A-Rod).
Nicknames can come from anywhere at anytime ...

He needs no nickname....blue collar guy, hard worker. Does not seem like his style. I loved the pictures of him on the sidelines post touchdown, not taking his helmet off just sitting there. Reminded me of a young kid playing rec ball, happy to be there, keeping that lid on just in case!

I've been calling him "Homer" for his home-run TD move.
When he jukes or pounds somebody, I yell "D'oh"!
My son and I laugh like hell.
Loved seeing his mom yesterday.
I call Haslett "Big Bird".
