Did you see the way he was turning his head back and forth after he caught that ball. He couldnt believe they didnt cover him. Glad Tana is showing up this year.
The play was coming right at me in section 233. Fantastic.

I can understand why you would like to see that. I think Shanny and gang want to keep him as the #3/slot guy because his play style caters more to that position and when we're in base 2 WR 2 TE sets,
Morgan and Garcon are much better run blockers at the point of attack.
I was so happy when Moss made that play. It reminded me of the countless times before he has made huge plays in the clutch for us.
Too bad it went in a losing effort, but you gotta love the guy. That play was big when it happened.
The press asked a Redskins executive about the salary cap penalty and the executive responded, "Ask John Mara." So the press asked Mara and he said, “What they did was in violation of the spirit of the salary cap. "
Oh I see now, even though there was no actual salary cap in 2010 according to the CBA, the "spirit" of the salary cap still existed. Thanks for clearing that up Mara.
I've never been all that big a fan of him, but it's entirely possible that Moss is the second greatest Redskins receiver ever. I'm factoring in the fact that that he has played on terrible offenses with awful QBs here.
I dunno, he just doesnt have any chemistry with RGIII. I dont think its a coincidence that his 1st big play of the year came with Cousins at QB. I have no explanation for it, it just is what it is. Gotta get receivers in here that RGIII is comfortable with, and Santana Moss is not one of them...
Tana is the man!!! The U is in the building!!
Santana Moss is still faster and better than many receivers being used ahead of him.
Santana is reliable. If it's catchable, 99 times out of 100, he catches it. On big plays, he's the guy you want. He may have lost a step, but he needs to be moved back up on the depth chart. Aside from game 1, Garcon has been flaky, and not just the injury. He's had unreliable hands. I was making this case to my brother at FedEx yeseterday literally the play before the bomb from #12.
SHHHHH... its threads like this that will make other teams pay attention to moss underneath so he can't read those zones and find the busted coverages.
Moss is like ninja. Creep silent, slit your throat.
**** YEAH!
bump to find it easier for when I update after the game. Forgot to update last week. It's now accurate as of last Sunday.
If Moss is still getting behind the secondary, then there is no reason not to keep playing him. Some of it might be because he is no longer the focal point of a defense's gameplan, but that isn't our problem. Exploit it for as long as we can.

Vintage Santana Moss play on the 61 yard TD. He has been doing this for us for years, and this year he has repeatedly proven that he still has it.
Even as a part-timer late in his career, he is still one of our best players. 6 TDs this year, including a 77 yarder and now a 61 yarder. Hail #89!
Time to update that OP!
