I wonder what the replacement refs think?
Thanks to Soup for the sig!
Might be reaching a bit on this picture. While its risky behavior, the picture isn't a good angle and he still has possession of the ball.
looks in control of the ball to me...
Its close. And that enough is a problem. Get all the way in the end zone first and dont make it even questionable.
I'm sure he'll get reminded of that this week in no uncertain terms from the coaches.
He's a rook, He'll learn the time and place to celebrate and the time and place to secure the darn rock until the plays over as he goes.
Hail.
We have seen this happen across the NFL almost every year. Knowing he has been cutting it close 2 times now, I do hope we do not fall victim and that the powers of the internets help get this over to someone that can remind him to not cut it so close. Maybe someone unafraid of getting trucked or crushed in a 645 foot pound vice, can tweet it to him.
Planning the endzone celebration before getting there is worse than turning ones head to run before catching the ball. But in the same school of counting chickens.
He crossed the plane, that's a just a bad angle.
"It was like he was Jason on 'Friday the 13th' -- man just wouldn't go down," - Honolulu bar patron on Trent Williams being tasered and smashed over the head with a champagne bottle.
He had the ball when he cross the plane, didn't drop it until he was in the end zone. Ball was in pretty clear possession when you watch it back; ball didn't come loose or anything.
Something he should watch, but yeah, he had possession.
I saw this during the game and he had crossed the plane first. Looked close because of how quickly he did it but he definitely had already scored.

Gotta find something to complain about Alfred. Well this and him leading the team in sacks.
I do hope the coaches bring this up, don't want him to cost us TDs because of something so stupid like this.
Gone, but not forgotten... RIP RP
Jeebus guys. Go back and watch an actual replay. You know, from field level and not looking down from the back of the endzone. The ball was so clearly across the plane of the goal it isn't even close. It is a full yard into the endzone before he spins it out of his hand. The andle of that shot would NEVER be used because there is no perspective. EVERYTHING looks closer to the field than the end zone because of the downward angle and the distance from the goal line.
