I'm still surprised that he is playing at all being that he was more interested in the summer Olympics and getting his law degree than he was in playing football.

The problem with this logic is that "almost" has never counted in sports. If you are going to count fumbles that aren't lost and interceptions that aren't caught why not count catches and TDs that are dropped as well? Where does the alternative universe logic end?
A fumble hitting the ground is an opportunity to lose the football. Whereas an interception is mostly skill reliant (You have to be able to catch and make a read on a route combination) a fumble is partially skill (being close to the ball) but also based on a lot of luck based upon the bounce. A fumble recovery is one of the most random plays in sports.

    Griffin is awesome.

but in Lucks defense.. Indy has no ground game. So the plan for the defense every week... is stop luck from passing on them. Makes it tough.

uh, did Des say something in this thread?
"Captain, it's a viewpoint--not one of ours! We're under attack!"

"I see it, ensign! Engage amygdala! Transfer all power from frontal lobes!

Suspend critical thinking field! Go to course heading of reflexive response 101 at full bias!
    Now!'Enter' at will!"

"It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so."

He has all the tools for sure. This guy is only scratching the surface of what he can do. Wait until the offense gets into Synch you might see a guy with 4500 passing yards, 1200 rushing yards, and 60+ total TDs in years to come.

This offense is going to be built to keep the punter on the sidelines forever.

It's not like defenses are ever going to be able to field 12 players.

RG3 is potentially the most dynamic player this league has ever seen. He's already better than Cam Newton, and I don't need stats to back that up. He just has "it".

Don't temper a damn thing. Over two decades of crappy QB performance here, we are due. Enjoy this now & for the next 12-15 years.

So after seeing this, I thought to myself "man I bet the Colts fans are pissed." I go to their forum and get this as one of the posts
    ----------------------------------------------------
Was looking at stats on espn and saw that luck is #1 in total qbr.

    Peyton 5th
    Brady 6th
    RG3 10th
    Eli 14th
    Rodgers 16th

Not saying luck is better than those players just listed some for comparasion. Discuss

    What exactly goes into QBR
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I just thought this to be funny since everyone has different stats. If Colts fans think they have the bestest QB in the universe, let them think that. They have had a rough year last year and this year doesn't look very solid.

As for RG3, all I can is F YEA

Like i said in another thread. we FINALLY have the foundation complete (GM, Coach, QB)... now we have the flexibility to build (which has already taken shape) anyway that we desire... We will be a dominant team in the next 2 seasons... This is only the beginning!!

You will give the Redskins an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun. In time you will help them accomplish wonders.

I'm not going to sit here and disrespect Luck.. He's going to be a great one, and is already good in his own right.. but i wouldn't trade OUR guy for anyone!

The Indy Colts forums keep pointing to Andrew Luck is #1 in the ESPN QBR. Considering he had like one game being remotely near the top of the weekly ratings for the same list, I don't see how he can be #1. Frankly, considering the performances of the teams and individuals, I am dumbfounded that someone at 53 percent completion or whatever can be ANYWHERE near the top.

    ESPN's QBR is garbage.

That's why ESPN's "Total QB Rating" is a complete and utter joke.

I said this on Twitter yesterday, but my most impressive rookie quarterbacks this season have been...

    1.) RG3
    2.) Tannehill
    3.) Luck
    4.) Weeden
    5.) Wilson

There`s a lot of truth to that.

Personally, I find it a damn shame that people get so hurt emotionally by previous events.... that they let those experiences interfere with their ability to enjoy anything else. So they prevent themselves from ever truly enjoying anything... whereby even the best-cast scenario, even if they allow themselves it is too late.

Enjoy it! We have a franchise QB. Finally. Take it all in... and enjoy the ride. Having a franchise QB doesn`t mean 14-2 seasons every year... and it doesn`t mean dominating every football game. A lot of wins will be come-from-behind miracles... and winning games we have no business winning. Those are all characteristics of every franchise QB ever. Even if I think the Redskins will lose and get killed... I`ll watch it just to watch RG3. That wasn`t the case last year.
