Enjoying the Cowboys misery

Going as far back as my formative schooling years, I've pretty much always hated Mondays, and that hasn't changed as I've entered the working world. But occasionally, nights like last night happen. Glorious five interception games (two returned for TD's) where our most hated rivals get crapped on under the national spotlight.

What's that you say. "Forehead, doesn't this belong in ATN?"

Yeah, probably...so allow me to quickly repeat what we keep saying to ourselves over and over. The Skins future at QB is incredibly bright!! There, good enough for the Stadium? Excellent, let's move onto the next segment of this post, which I call, "bathing in the tears of Cowboys fans." All quotes are cherry-picked from our good friends at CowboysZone, all picture are random, and appropriate, from the Internet.

In the grand scheme of things, the 2012 offense is, personnel wise, is about the same. What I can't understand is how Tony Romo is on pace, after 4 games, for 32 interceptions an 8 fumbles lost (40 turnovers!!!).

I already am seeing/hearing the calls that it's time to move on from Tony. All I can say is it is frigging hard to find a franchise QB -- it can take teams 20 years if not more (see the Dolphins, Bills, KC, etc, etc) to find a franchise QB.

Be careful what you wish for.

I think Tony can rebound, however, I have a deep dark fear that Romo is starting to look like a QB who is showing his age EARLIER instead of later like we all thought he would due to his low mileage in his earlier career.

It happens. Some QBs start to flame out at 32-33... let's hope it isn't Tony.

There's a reason nobody took a flyer on the guy. Yes, he's played way over expectation throughout his career, but he's still the QB from Eastern Illinois who couldn't get drafted. He was a nice replacement for a struggling (and aging) Bledsoe during Parcell's tenure, but I never thought the guy should have been the longterm answer at franchise QB. He lacks certain intagibles that first (and sometimes second) round QBs tend to have (compare him with Cutler last night, and with Flacco on the 14th). I blame Jerry for wasting years on him.

Tony Romo is not the answer in Dallas. It's time to change the culture of this team starting with Garrett.

Tony doesn't have the arm strength he once had and his accuracy on the deep ball leaves a lot to be desired. He might not be done, and certainly the line is a huge issue. But we could have Robert Griffin.

*And I might add, Robert Griffin is OURS! Back off, *******s!

Trade 2013 and 2014 first round picks for Geno Smith. And I'm serious on that.

As a Redskins fan recently suggested, this Cowboys team needs to be blown up. Romo is like Obama, he had his four years to prove something now its time to go.

*I could probably do this all day, and I might come back for more later, but feel free to add your own. If you are asked, is it really okay to revel in the misery of a downed opponent, know that your old pal Forehead is in your corner; it's perfectly acceptable.

After the success of RGIII, I think those 'Girls fans will get their wish as Jerruh try's to keep pace by going all in for his top QB next April.

If Romo was smart, he'd start the negotiations now as they'll not be on the table come seasons end.
