I recently was talking to Dave (Iontop) about Blake during this past weekend at the Bucs game. Still sad to see such a young life gone. RIP Blake!
I might have changed my screen name, but I will still be known as MIA!!!
RIP Blake.
Thanks for letting us know, Vicarious. Our prayers are with his family and all the friends he made on these boards.
You're missed, Blake.
What a shame.
I hope Blake is looking down on us, and enjoying the continued displays of love and respect from his friends on a Redskins board, of all places. Some people transcend any superficial rivalries, and just "force" you to love 'em. Blake was/is one of those guys.
RIP, brother. We'll never forget you.

Darn it Blake man. If only you'd of gone to the hospital to get checked out. One thing I learnt and never forget from a previous relationship with a nurse, you don't take chances on head bangs/ injuries.
Terribly tragic way to bow out at such a young age. Still miss your inimitable wit and style on here man. You were one of the VERY few opposition fans we loved having around these parts as much as any of our own.
Thank you Vicarious for taking time out to update us here. Hopefully this will bring a sense of closure to you guys too.
Hail.
Dang man, the same exact thing happened to my grandmother in 2000. That just sucks.![]()
Gone, but not forgotten... RIP RP
Not sure why any of those asshats would think it was drugs. My first thought was something with his heart that went undetected in his life. I had what they called, "coartation of the aorta" as a birth defect. Basically the aorta starts to narrow until it closes off. They usually catch it between birth and age 5, but mine wasn't discovered until I was 15. I went to the doctor because of a strange rash on my arm and my blood pressure was sky-high. They knew something was wrong when a 15 yr old has a BP of 190/105. I now have a unique scar running from my left side rib cage up my back. So that's what I was thinking happened to Blake when he just went to sleep. They said I could have had a heart attack and died if they didn't find it when they did.
Redskins 2013 Opponents:
Home- Dallas, NY Giants, Philadelphia, Detroit, Chicago, San Francisco, Kansas City, San Diego
Away- Dallas, NY Giants, Philadelphia, Green Bay, Minnesota, Atlanta, Denver, Oakland
That is so heartbreaking. The pain his family must be feeling. Too young . RIP young man.
Thank you for the information. RIP Blake.

Very sad, man.. life is fragile indeed.![]()
I`d argue the exact oppositeIt`s amazing how resilient the body actually is... and it`s capacity to survive every day against events and challenges that, for all intents and purposes, should kill us. There`s millions of videos on Youtube that would validate that argument.
My god....is that unfair.....
Did he even any kind of pre-existing condition that no one knew about?
They always say that if you take a blow to the head or suspect a concussion that you should not go to sleep.![]()
