Redskins Buzzfeed: Here's A Supercut Of Robert Griffin III Getting Hit Over And Over Again

"A quarter of the way through the 2012 season, RGIII has been one of the NFL's best quarterbacks. But as this video shows, over his last two games, the Redskins have let Griffin get abused."

This video scares me. RG3 has been amazing through these first four games and I admire his toughness, but damn...he has been getting lit up, as we have ALL talked about at length.

I think that all of the time while watching the games, but to see them all cut together...yikes. Fingers crossed to him staying healthy. I'm also happy to see Shanny address this and have RG get his hands up when he doesn't have the ball.

The man certainly keeps getting up. The end of the video is the best part.

    HTTR.

Damn I hate that song so much. He does look like a ragdoll when he gets hit.

I don't know man, I went into this video expecting a lot worse. I only really saw a handful of hits that looked irregular (one of which was a sidewalk slam) in the whole 2 minutes.

I don't think I've noticed him slide in any of the games so far. Has anyone shown or explained to him the importance of a QB doing so?

looking at the video i see a few hits that are brutal but most of them are common hits, to me he got most beat up in the st louis and cincy games, with cincy taking his most punishment.

He's an NFL QB, he's going to get hit. Most of the hits weren't that bad. The more you act like a nervous ninny over something, the greater chance it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. RG3 knows what he's doing, let the man work.

I can't put just the video in the post as it's a Buzzfeed video. That or I just don't know how to do it.

Yeah...going in, I thought the hits would be far worse. It still makes me nervous. I'm sure it has a lot to do with how much he means to the team that makes me nervous. I really think the STL game was the worst, as far as hits.

I'd still prefer to see him slide in some of those situations instead of take a massive hit.

The "taking hits" thing has been way over blown. The dude has shown he's not a paper flute glass. Let him play the game he is comfortable playing while he continues to learn.

He's slid, go back and watch the RG3 Zone on NFL.com. It's just that he is not sliding a ton. And you can't blame him for the hit he took from Newman vs. Cincy because he was out of bounds. nor can you blame him for the hits he has taken in the pocket (in terms of the late hits, etc.) because defensive players are trying to do him like Vick.

You will give the Redskins an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun. In time you will help them accomplish wonders.

I think Shanahan would, too. But then again, what recourse does he have? Bench your franchise QB because he wouldn't slide?

He said he already had that happen in the St. Louis game, I believe. Got up slow and saw stars and ran off the field.
