    Redskins Beginning to miss Cooley...

From his poofy hair, to his game winning catches.. to catching more balls than any other redskins tight end... wish we still had him.. loosing him kinda took apart of me away too.. call it a man crush, or bromance... if anything he was a comfort to the soul, to a team, a fan.. to all of us...
httr!!!!!.. just dont get picked up by dallas.. please.

They all start out the same and this is how they end up.

Griffin said that he was going to watch the game with his family and that he will never attend a Super Bowl if he needs a ticket to get in.

I will always appreciate Chris Cooley. But game-winning catches... you`re distorting history a lot.

he had 33 td's, most of which were game changers/winners.. not specifically referring to the last catch of the game.. but the 50+ yarder from J.C. does stand out.. just say'n.. maybe i went overboard with that part.. is what it is.

Is this for real? Poofy hair? Sounds like the back cover of a romance novel.

I miss him too. And I'd miss any player whose career was solid and wanted to be/stay a Redskin. Especially with the promise our team is showing now, I'm sorry he's not a part of it.

From what I read on the Redskins.com article, Cooley seems pretty at peace with where he's at right now. He had a great career with the Redskins, and he's always going to be involved with the organization in some capacity. I find it very hard to believe he would play for another team this year.

There is a thread for this....Please stop cluttering the board with unnecessary threads. We all appreciate what Cooley did for the team, but it's time to let go and concentrate on the players that are helping the team win now. The team felt it was time to move on and that other players have a better chance of helping the team win, plus you are ignore the role that chris' salary played in his release. His performance just didn't
warrant his pay. Salary cap is a huge part of the NFL business!

always.. someone that says "theres a thread for this".. why not just appreciate what it is? .. time to let go? you should appreciate and respect the players that are you favorites.. im not a troll Dheavy, and in all actualality i did do a search for this being talked about.. sorry i dont follow the marine esk protocol in redskin fan posting to suit your fit...... just appreciate, and move on.. or ignore.. ..simply appreciation, and wishing things went a different route..i know salary cap is a huge part of the nfl, as any fan does, but it wasen't that. it was about the starting position to correct you. he wanted to start, shanahan said davis would be infront of him.

Do you miss Clint Eastwood too? Even though he's talking to empty chairs now?
