Rant: Redskins WRs. You are paid to catch the ball. If you can't deal with rain and contact play baseball.

Who in the blue hell goes 20 years without a competent kicker?
The Washington Redskins
Who in the hell makes their only veteran QB inactive on game day?
The Washington Redskins
Who in the hell abandons the running game when you're averaging 11 yds a carry on a rainy day?
The Washington Redskins.
We're still wandering the NFL Wilderness with no compass.............
No pain with today's loss. Thought we had a good plan. Defense was fine. Offense didn't help D... Didn't control ball enough and didn't give the D any cushion. Then, losing RG3 was a killer. Horribly tough spot for Cousins to enter. The Cundiff miss was huge as was the Bryant 53 yarder. Cundiff has to go.
In a 16 game season every loss stings, but this one is pretty acceptable to me. Lots of good things out there. Next week is a huge for our season ala the Tampa game.
We need a kicker.
RG3 likely has a concussion 5 games into his career, not a good sign at all. Heck with the running, just stop it.
Our defense played better, but still couldn't get off the field...and gave it up when it mattered due to being on the field too long. Opposing kickers are world class against us.
I said this before the first game so I'm not being revisionist. Grossman should've been the backup. And after today, I don't care how professional Cousins has been. Grossman we know has the capability to play good at times. We probably would've lost anyway, but I would've rather had the vet out there.
Eli Manning will be 31 years old when the 2012 season starts.Michael Vick will be 32 years old when the 2012 season starts.Tony Romo will be 32 years old when the 2012 season starts.ROBERT GRIFFIN III will be 22 years old when the 2012 season starts.
I'd like to see Grossman as the #2.
Jim Haslett is a horrible coach.
1: bad play calling. They need to get rg throwing on the run.
2: rg needs to learn to throw the ball away or slide.
3: billy Cundiff is horable.
4: this game is on the offense.
5: bring back gano! Now!
This team is cursed!
Cudiff gave the Falcons hope and inspired them. As soon as he missed, they became a different team. Smith and Cundiff can leave on the first bus. Never should have been brought in. He was never good enough to begin with. A hair better than Gano and the Ravens knew he'd lost it.
You cut your young improving guy for a guy who's a fifty percent kicker and misses back to back 30 yard field goals! Stinks. We aren't cursed. We are Smithed!
Trevor Matich just said it best on Post Game Live. This may be the time where the kid touched the hot stove. Hopefully, RGIII will learn from this and start to throw the ball away once outside of the pocket or learn how to slide/run out of bounds.
the teams we beat are a combined 1-7 and all signs point to 1-8 after tonight. this team has some bright spots can't put together 4 quarters in a row with all the aspects of the game clicking. if the offense is doing well, the defense and special teams fail. if the defense does well, the offense sputters.
and the defense can't make a stop with the game on the line, period. and cundiff's locker should be cleaned out before he gets out of the shower. we had all the momentum in the game and he blew it all.

Yeah, I'm in the "losing to the Falcons by single digits is fine, losing RG3 is not" crowd.
The Redskins: Straight outta the WOOM!
Release Cundiff. Bring back Gano, Rackers, or whatever journeyman kicker is out there. Our defense is bad. Yes, they played well the 1st half, but the game is 60 minutes, not 30. In regards to offense, they weren't getting a lot done. It was only a matter of time before RG3 missed some game time with all the hits he has taken. Last but not least, I really hate FedEx. We have zero home field advantage. It's always been a horrible stadium for us. I'd love to see in my lifetime a new stadium, something like a modern day RFK or something. Please Mr. Snyder, get us away from FedEx.
The soldiers gave three cheers as they urged their tired horses north across the uneven hills. Some of the mounts, exhausted after a week of almost continual marching, began to lag behind; others, spurred on by their enthusiastic riders, began to edge past the regiment's commander. "Boys, hold your horses," Custer cautioned; "there are plenty of them down there for us all."
