There were other "turning points." I think it was in our first two drives where we moved the ball a little, but our receivers dropped balls that hit them in the hand and would have been first downs. I think one was Davis and the other was Garcon. In tough games, you can't push yourself off the field. The Falcon defense did nothing to get us off the field. Dropped balls that were delivered accurately were a big problem on two early drives. Make the catches and 1 thing certainly happens - we keep our D on the sideline. But we may also get points out of the drive. With rookie QBs, you can't have verterans dropping the ball.

Ok here's my rant! Our home record makes my season tix the worst investment in the history of the world. I love the tailgating, but I can do that at home for $17.29 instead of at FedEx for $1729.00.

Yet another disappointing loss in a game where we had the chance to get a w, much like the colts did against the pack today in indy.....

Frustration at this team is how I feel right about now. We have a qb who doesn't play like a rookie, yet his pass attempts were limited the whole game.....i mean, 15 pass attempts....whereas luck, on the other hand, had 55 attempts.....no restraint there. Morris was a running stud, yet inside the 10 we chose to pass vice run. Our pass rush is non existant for the most part.....and I seems as if our secondary depends on the opposing qb to be inaccurate vice providing good coverage.....of course, small secondary players who are not physical....outside of williams....matched against tall, strong, atheletic reveivers makes for a long day. Our wr corps, by and large, has not been as good as I had thought.....glimpses for sure, but today arcon had some drops, and I did not hear morgans name called the whole game.

Oh, and cundiff needs to be gone tomorrow......those that berated gano for his inconsistency sure cannot say that cundiff has been the answer.

As to next week.....i hope rgiii can play. We saw what rex vs the vikings did to us last season....and the vikings had their backup qb and rb for much of the game......so I say give cousins reps this week and let him start if rgiii can't go. That is y u drafted cousins in the first place.

There are several issues with his team. As I thought we would be around. 500.....but the exciting play of rgiii got my hopes up......but, guess we are who we are, and this will be a up and down season for us.......

Trust me, if I had the answers I would be a coach, not a frustrated fan......

Speed kills. Separation helps tremendously also. Garcon and Moss seem to be the only ones doing anything, and even thats not enough. Why it just seems that the receivers are running with concrete shoes, no ability to get away from anyone, almost sluggish.
Surprisingly, the Skins went toe to toe with the IMO over-rated Falcons, but almost every time their receivers went in routes, Redskin defenders are always in chase mode, thats when they're not 10 yds away while a receiver is making his cut.
Disappointed? yea, to a degree, but these are issues that happen every week, yet no change to this problem has been made. Its why the Skins are ranked so low on pass D, and seems the only players being hit are the ones in practice or warm-ups...

    He's your classic back up.

Not meant to start but has enough talent to help you out in spot duty.

He'd have given us a better quarter and a half than Cousins.
Grossman is not our future backup, Cousins is. As a team, we are better activating Cousins so that he will get a chance, either due to an injury or in garbage time. He needs to get some real experience or he will never be a good backup or trade bait.

I'm really finding myself pained to be a fan of this ****ing team. I drive down from Baltimore each Sunday to see this group of 52 mediocre professionals and a superstar, and can't really justify it. I feel awful for season ticket holders. The Redskins are easily the worst professional sports experience in the area- fedex has awful food, parking, and fan participation compared to Nats Park, Verizon Center, Camden Yards, or even M&T (which pains me to say). The product isn't even marginal given the ridiculous price.

Griffen please.....please......please play smart football. Look at Vick (i am not saying you are Vick) and learn from his mistakes. You can not afford to learn by your trial and error. Defense looked winded after RG3 went out. Not as mad at lose but again mad at RG3. Also had enough of directv, their customer service, their product, their service... you pay hundreds of dollars for faulty dvr. Their poker hand (holdialwayng that NFL package) makes you fold always but i am about to bluff them.

It isn't FedEx. Hell, we've won a playoff game at FedEx.
FedEx was under construction during the middle of Norv and the playoff win was simply because the curse was in its infant stages. We also lost the next week on a botched snap.

Falcons have an offense that was supposed to drop TD bomb after TD bomb on us this game, and they didn't. Defense did their job keeping ATL in front of them all game, and as badly as they dominated us in TOP, you'd think we'd gotten blown out. Matt Ryan had to throw 52 times because he only averaged 6.6 ypa, and ATL only average 3 yards per carry rushing the ball. The defense did its job today against a top flight offense.

We basicly lost to the better team today. Even with them knocking out our starting QB and dominating time of possesion, this was still a one score game that we had time at the end to win. Not happy we lost, but I'm not looking for a ticket on the blame train after this one. I fully expect us to get back to .500 against the Vikings next week...
We don't know what we think, we don't know what we know. All we have to go on, is what we say and what we show...

If that's the case, cut him now then. why bother?

I don't know that I agree with the assessment that he looks awful. But I have to say, that reverse call had me scratching my head. Of all of the guys we could have run that with... Aldrick, Santana, Pierre... We gave it to Hankerson. Kyle Shanahan didn't have his best game today. But I think he's overall done a good job this year.

Blackouts have nothing to do with it. We werent blacked out when there were 30,000 Steelers fans here either. I go to 1-2 games a year and am constantly disappointed by the number of people who should be giving their tickets to people who give a damn.

I'm a Hankerson fan too... But, I realize he's not the kind of WR that you ran a reverse with. He's got good speed but he's not explosive. You make him stop on that type of play and he's done.
