Thread: Robert Griffin III faces mild concussion

  1. #1

Default Robert Griffin III faces mild concussion

After facing that nasty hit Robert Griffin did not know the score of the game or which quarter the game was in.

Knowing the redskins training staff, this means it's a more than a mild concussion.

Somebody posted in another thread that Shanny said that RG3 didn't know what quarter it was.

From this post game comments, Shanahan initially didn't know which quarter the injury occurred either.

Was the other thread the original post?

We all knew that this was coming. Hopefully we have someone other than our usual training staff working with him. Knowing the regular guys, it would be 4 weeks

Seeing as how you aren't a doctor, you don't mind if we wait for their word?

There are a lot of teams/coaches who would have had him right back in the game. I don't want to mention any names or the eagles, but props to our coaching staff for putting the person over the game.

Robert Griffin will not go to the hospital. He has left FedEx Field and will be re-evaluated tomorrow.

    Sit him.

Sit him for as long as it takes for him to get to 100% and then sit him another week.

This is just awful, awful news. Concussions are nothing to mess around with.

Well I suppose that's a good thing? But just the mention of hospital creeps me out
