Default Defense played bend but don't break.

I thought the defense played well and left it up to the O. Totally different plan that last few weeks and it worked. I think anyone would of given Atlanta that many points and left it up to O. The D was just was left out there too long. We had them dead to rights. RGIII should of mixed in some with ALF and that would of been the end of of Atlanta. Anyone else notice Atlanta committing 100% to Albert on the tosses, especially when we were inside Atlanta's 20. Robert could of walked in backwards in any type of bootleg. I really think this team is good and with a little luck can do something. They will be 3-3 after next wk with the deciding games ahead. No doubt. Stay healthy and we have a shot. Regardless, Cundiff"s kick changed everything and we likely would of went into the half 10-0. Either way D improved but Atlanta has one heck of an O and we held them to a point. No blow out and we could of easily won that. The future is looking bright and for once i feel like we can win any given week. Just need some luck and for goodness sake protect our franchise QB. Hail!

Our defense played the pass a little better although still giving up 358 yards, but our tackling absolutely sucked. We gave them countless yards and first downs after the first initial hit by the a defender and that is completely unacceptible. I'm shocked that we were able to keep it close with that kind of performance, the defense better start pulling their head out of their *** if we want to win another game.

So we're gonna bash the defense for blitzing too much and getting burned, yet when we decide to focus on taking away big plays as opposed to creating them on defense we complain? This town is hard to please.

I personally blame the offense for going 0-for on 3rd downs and abandoning the running game late. NO defense can hold up forever when your offense can't convert. The other team is GOING to make plays.

Just because we didn't give up the big play doesn't mean the defense played well. Did you look at the time of possession? We couldn't get them off the field. We played the bend don't break defense.

Did we blitz at all today or even have one sack?

I was at the game and the defense looked horrible. Absolutely horrible.

Damn good thing you could be there first hand to properly gather together the technical intricacies involved in forming that viewpoint. We need to send you to more games.

That level of analysis could make you... Legendary.

The problem was that Ryan dropped back 52 times and walked out of fed ex with a clean jersey.

This type of defense can work with RG3 led offense we had the first 4 weeks...

The D kept us in the game for the most part. Today's loss is 90% on the offense for doing mostly nothing for three quarters. 0-fer on 3rd downs and no sustained drives whatsoever. If the offense had kept the ball, the D gameplan would have been gold.

We can't seem to get a full 60 minute team performance.
