0-3 when the Defense scores a TD

This is a crazy stat the Redskins are 0-3 this season when the defense scores a TD and 2-0 when they don’t.

Score when you can. What I would say is that the Result has been the opposing team gets immediate possession again and our O is out of rhythm in the first half. That being said, you take points whenever you can get them.

For as maligned as they been, the pick 6s have been a nice surprise and a weird coincidental statistic. Hopefully, they continue to have more and they begin to win those type of games.

and this is just another bizarre stat that adds up to more evidence this team is just not there yet. They are never firing on all cylinders at the same time. When we finally get to a situation where the offense, defense, and special teams are all having great days AT THE SAME TIME this team will finally start winning some games.

God help the NFL when that happens. I really don't think we are that far off. I really don't. We still have obvious holes on this team, but unlike in the past there are only a couple of areas where I think we need significant upgrades. Secondary of course, and more depth on the o-line. Oh, and we need a kicker like yesterday as well. I'm so sick and tired of this being a weakness of the team. No matter who they bring in there always seems to be a problem with their game.

hmm. Interesting I guess, but I don't think there's really any meat and potatoes to it. Closest thing is that it puts the opponents' offense on the field vs our typically bad defense. But if that's the case, you're hoping we have the ball, where the goal is 7 points, and no offense can possibly put 7 points up faster than these plays.

This is nothing but a good thing. 3 defensive scores in 5 games is good.

I guess the Defense realizes when the Offense is in trouble and needs to step up their game, hence the defensive TD's. Either way, it takes both to win a game. Normally.

Defense played much better today. Still not outstanding, but a solid effort against a top-tier offense. I was impressed.

As to the OP, that is a weird stat, and I was actually thinking the same thing. Sometimes I get to feeling we must be cursed. So much strange stuff happens to us.
