Special teams and defense. Seems like we only have 1 of 3 football catagories going for us, offense. So do we fire Hasslet and Danny , then we rebuilding againg, is there any hope.

Strictly from an accountability and production stand point you have to cut Cundiff. There is a reason the Ravens cut him. He apparently does not handle "pressure" that well.
Go out and have a try out out this week. Open competition for all of these guys.

Just make sure Danny Smith isnt the one making the decision.

Forbath sounds good. Let's get this done.
"Washington strolled to the NFC championship, outscoring their two playoff opponents by a combined total of 48 points. Their domination was more than impressive, it was historic. The 1991 Redskins boasted the largest average margin of victory among all Super Bowl champions."

The problem is that Cundiff has the "yips." He's got the ability to be solid from 45 and in, and kick the ball out of the end zone on kickoffs. However, it's in his head. Something's just not right. He's got the yips. He better work them out real freaking fast or else. Though it might be too late.
There appears to be a light at the end of the tunnel. I just hope it's not a train.

I don't care what kicker we bring in because it will be better than Billy Cundiff.

At this point they should just make the job a give away. First 100 fans to the stadium get a tryout, best one wins the job. Would have to be better than Cundiff.

I'm beginning to wonder if Danny Smith is making those calls on who to hire or was it Bruce Allen? I'm ok with Gano because he's young and has a strong leg. Maybe the skins gave up on him too soon? I don't think it can get any worse but I'd be interested to know first what he's doing. Has he been working out and ready to go?

Sounds like somebody's had a phone call to me. Could be reading way too much into it, but Graham doesn't tweet much and it seems like too much of a coincidence.

Yeah he tweeted just yesterday that he'd been practicing kicking into the wind. "Graham Gano ‏@GrahamGano
Had a very productive day into the wind! Finished 39/41 long of 50. #waiting..."

EDIT: He's headed to the weight room now as of about a minute ago, so yeah sounds like he's keeping in shape (and sounds like I'm stalking him, which for the record I'm not lol)

I hope I'm wrong, but the stubbornness exhibited to date by this coaching staff makes me think they'll stick with him a few more weeks. We have to wait until he totally tanks the season to make a change. That's how professionals handle things.

I am hoping that they also bring in somebody else.
Bringing Gano back does not inspire a whole lot of confidence either.

This. Gano had his chance here and he wasn't very good either. Not as bad as Cundiff, but I still don't think we should bring him back. Let's have Rackers, Kasay and Forbath come in and try out.
