Starting A Sports Blog

Okay so I tried searching for this topic, or something relevant that wasn't too old.

I want to start a blog, with of course, a DC sports perspective. I plan on creating this between myself and 2 other buddies of mine, sort of a cooperative project.

My question is, are there are helpful tips or places that work as good reference...aside from some of the local area blogs (Hogs Haven, Son of Washington, etc etc).


I'm sure there are plenty of Skins fans who do their own writing, any suggestions?
