Default Your opionion: Will Griffin play this Sunday?

Going to my only 'Skins game of the year this Sunday with the wife. Bought these tickets in hopes to see you know who under center. As my luck would have it, he gets a concussion and we not only lose the Falcons game because of it; but I might not get to seem him play.

What your thought? Will he play Sunday?

    I'm thinking positive. HTR

Depends on how well he does in practice. If he plays, we win. If not......idk

I only hope he plays if he feels right about doing it.

    Yes.

But I'd rather he be held back if there's ANY hangover at all on the concussion by weeks end.

    Hail.

Totally agree. I'd rather lose the next 5 games without RGIII if sitting him means he gets and stays healthy.

Provided he passes the battery of concussion tests, he will 100% play. They will not hold him out just to be cautious unless he fails those tests.

if he fails even one test or has any symptoms, he will not be allowed to play.

otherwise, he will be out there and I believe he should be.

Yessir, that's what I was trying to say. There is no way Griffin is a healthy scratch.

I think he probably will, but I'd prefer he didn't.

    This.

RG3 already said that he's certain he'll pass the cognitive tests and play, but I'm concerned nonetheless.

Exactly. Call it being overly-protective, or using "kid gloves", but I'd rather we wait too long, than not long enough to get him back on the field. This season is very likely nothing more than a practice run for next year and beyond. Missing a game or two may help him focus on making better decisions with his body out there, and it can't make things much worse in the standings.

...also, maybe Cousins lights it up for a game or two, and we can get our Cassel/Kolb-type trade moving forward.

based on what Shanny has said and the tweet from RG3, I'd say yes.

i read he's passed all his tests so far and appears to be fine

I'm in the same boat as you dude. I'm driving up from southern VA 5 hours to see the game. Hoping its not to see Cousins, if so, I'm going to have to invest in some of those ridiculously priced beers.

Yeah I'm sure he will if the concussion really wasn't that bad.( For a concussion that is) Question is, will the rest of the team?
