Redskins.com: Kerrigan Responds To ‘C’Mon Man!’ Nod

I didn't watch MNF last night, but found this hilarious.

Washington Redskins outside linebacker Ryan Kerrigan on Monday night was the subject of ridicule on ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown’s popular feature “C’Mon Man!”

ESPN anchor Chris “Boomer” Berman apparently took exception to Kerrigan’s decision to jump into the FedExField stands after scoring on a 28-yard interception return off Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan.

The act that is affectionately known as the “Landover Leap” in these parts was referred to as the “FedEx Flop” by Boomer on ESPN.
Kerrigan issued the following statement in response to his “C’Mon Man!” debut:

“I regret that the Redskins fans had to witness myself in their beloved burgundy and gold on ESPN Monday Night Countdown’s weekly feature “C’Mon Man!”
I’m terribly embarrassed for the team, the fans and my family.
Moving forward, I will choose to launch all 260 pounds of my Redskins heft into at least the third row, subjecting myself and others to harm so that this incident does not repeat itself.

The height of the stands there is extremely low. There is no need to jump like in other stadiums.

On another note it is nice to see a defensive player actually cover a screen like they are supposed to.

Berman is awful and is truly representative of the school of thought that says that sometimes HD isn't a good thing. Yeah, I just called him ugly, it is hypocritical because I am ugly too, but I don't care, I am not on TV. His shtick is so mind-blowingly horrendous, that if I hear the words "Marshall" and "Whoop" in the right context I want to break things. Pretty sure I have Berman PTSD.
