So you're proud of the fact that you heckled our own kicker after he made a field goal? What ever happened to supporting our players?

If you don't agree with the acquisition/retention of a player there is nothing wrong with voicing that but how does criticizing him in the middle of the game help anything?

I hope we give up the short corner kickoff. While we havent been burned by it yet, its only a matter of time before we kick one out of bounds, or we get lit up for a touch.

I hope Danny lets Kai just clock it out of the end zone for his first game.

The problem with Suisham in Washington wasn't necessarily how many kicks he missed...it was how many crucial kicks he missed.
saw a stat on Thursday that said he was 100% career wise on some game winners/tie fgs....obviously he missed it on Thursday but as a Redskin fan I was like how is this possible??

Thanks Soup For The Sig! WE GOT HIM!!!!!

Forbath will be a huge upgrade over any of the kickers the skins have had in recent memory. What a great pickup

This isn't true until he plays more than a handful of games to prove it. Otherwise the coaches would be incompetent knowing the best kicker in recent memory was a free agent while they tried out Gano, Rackers and then ended up with Cundiff.

I'm not saying he won't be good, but I am saying it's premature to say he is better than anyone we had. I think that if the coaches or Bruce Allen thought that, he would have been in here in training camp.

Any word on how he's done on kickoffs at practice? If not, guess we'll find out tomorrow. Here's hoping that he kicks off at least 6 times, just so we can get a good sample size

I don't even care if he gets touchbacks as long as he can get us 3 points from make-able NFL kicking distances. I don't know what the weather up there in DC is, but if it's a clear day I assume he will touchback 50% of his kick offs.

Our ex kicker just lost the Steeler game so maybe Cobra is our kicker for 10 years.

Tampa Bay picked before Detroit and us; so he was not available.

I hear what ur saying, from what I saw and heard about him that he seems to have a great leg and is accurate. To me, he just seems to be the guy that the skins can finally rely on to make the crucial kicks. He's young and here's to hoping.

Ask Bang, he'll point out our ST coach is lousy. Every season it is that much harder to argue against. I said we didn't want to make the mistake with Gano that we did with Akers, Novak, and Suisham. Gano was even with Rackers, and his youth and kickoffs won him the job. I didn't like him being cut, but Cundiff was a pro bowler who had 1 bad kick in playoffs where he was unnecessarily rushed. Cundiff has not mentally recovered and has worsened judging from his brief stint here.Confidence is everything to a kicker. That could have been seen in a try out possibly, and I'm wondering if we held on or if Smith just said go get him. Really we should have hung on to Gano.

That being said, I am glad we moved away from Cundiff quickly and I like the potential of Cobra Kai.

Why so serious? Lol I'm sure you we're calm and collective each time Cundiff missed a chip shot. He was terrible, simple as that.

I was in favour of the move for Cundiff, but damn, the guy looked mentally screwed pretty quickly.

Good luck Kai, don't miss and you'll do just fine.

Just sign him back already..Im hoping I am wrong about this and we lucked up into finding this kicker but I just don't know how this guy is going to handle the pressure

This guy will be cut after two games played ...He has never played or kick in a NFL game in his career..lol Too much pressure for him to start trying now in DC
How many FG do you need our kicker to miss in a season? He missed 3 in 1 game that almost cost us that game, and missed his very next try in the next game, and that Atlanta game would have been a huge win if we pulled it out. A man who can kick as good as Forbath deserves his shot, and now he's getting it in the Nations Capital. I hope he ends up being our answer.
