Thread: 2013 Southeast Division Champions Caps Vs. Rangers

    - Each team will be allowed two amnesty buyouts that can be used to terminate contracts after this season and next season. The buyouts will count against the players' overall share in revenues, but not the team's salary cap.

Time to buyout Ovie and Backstrom, I'm sick of watching them skate in circles.....not sure if we have the money, or ted would do such a thing...

there is something to be said for stability in every sport.

When you change coaches 3 times in a year, this will happen.

When you bring in new players all of the time, this will happen. Especially when you are down grading in talent for the most part.

No one knows what the **** is going on out there right now.

I'm also bringing a FIRE MCPHEE sign with me on Tuesday. I wonder if they'll let me in with it. We'll see...

Why the hell do we have to suck for an entire period in order to come out and start making real passes and getting chances? I'm sure the Pens let up a bit, but come the hell on.

glad we scored but I don't get how the Caps think that doing everything in their power to get it to Ovi in the left circle isn't predictable

Still absolutely 0 communication on the ice. Hilarious watching these guys run into each other entering the offensive zone. It's like they've never played hockey before.

I know, Monk...got a 21-year old coworker, his whole family Penguins fans, gonna give me all kindsa hell.
(Yeah, and he just bought his Malkin jersey from MY jersey connection, the girl that got me an Elite RGIII for a good price, and it's REAL.)

Good god, can we get a decent chunk without a stoppage?

    Cory Schneider? David Booth? Hmmm....

    Still need help on defense.

    What does Bieska make?

Disappointing game so far, but Ovechkin has gotten some really good chances. Could be a completely different game if Holtby doesn't give up those softies (of course, we got a gift of a goal as well).

Really don't think Luongo is going to solve anything.

If we give up a good prospect for one of of the Canucks goalies I'll lose my mind. Couldn't think of a dumber move GMGM could make.

I want nothing to do w/ Luongo...but Schneider is interesting.

Goaltending sucks (so far), but there are other glaring needs for this team, IMO.

Two incredible chances for Ovi... Rough patch of luck that neither went in.

We haven't scored more than 3 goals all season (I think). I'd say that our main concern is goal scoring.
