Does anyone else think that Ribs is dogging it? The last two games his effort has been pretty bad save for the offensive zone. We already have a player like that wearing a #8 jersey. I almost think he's trying to get traded.

It really seems that since that penalty filled game against (was it the Isles? or Devils?) he hasn't been the same player.

He didn't get credit on his passing because he didn't discover a pass until this season. Either way, that was a beauty. He's been looking to pass a lot this season and it works out marvelously sometimes.

This is 100% incorrect. OV's always been an above average passer with maybe the exception of his rookie season. Just never got credit because he was putting in 50 goals a year.

Yes, I was being sarcastic. He was an average passer. It really seems that he's been working on the pass in an effort to be a better all around offense player.

I think he's passing too much this season actually. He's had open shots in the slot and he's trying to deliver an Adam Oates special instead. We need a Mike Bossy instead. I'd say since 09-10 he's been an above average passer. Not elite, but better than average.

Ovechkin now leads the league in PPG. Even-strength is another issue, but that IMO, falls on George McPhee. Look at who he's had to skate with over the course of this season...hendricks/chimera/etc. Doing #8 NO favors. Fix the team, george. Get a legit top-6 together.

Not for nothing, but I would love to have a guy like Patrick Kaleta on our team....perfect 4th liner who's got a couple of screws loose.
